So, take an engineering perspective of this issue. Codes call for a specific load bearing capacity of a floor, as a whole. Let’s say 40 lbs/square foot is standard. It doesn’t matter if it’s upstairs or downstairs, assuming your downstairs isn’t a concrete pad on earth.  Let’s say you have a 10*15 foot room. Your square footage is 150 square feet, right? Your load bearing capacity would be 40psf*150ft^2 = 6000 lbs. this is for your whole floor. 
 
Yes, if you concentrate the weight in one small area you will cause damage to that area, but spread over a few square feet, you will most likely be fine. Your shelf would give way before your floor.

You obviously weren't part of the Frank Ocean - Blonde orders. Exact same situation as this.

I feel like it's not that uncommon for a plant to ship a partial order to a customer. I suppose from there they could opt to not send any orders until the entire run is in, but that seems kind of silly.

Wrote the support the other day, they replied that the other orders will be shipped out beginning of july!

Just wanted to say I had a good experience selling to this guy. I offloaded some of my more rare albums, and he paid a pretty fair price for everything. If you have a bunch of stuff you want to offload, I highly recommend reaching out.

I would readjust your thought process or your spending habits a bit first

The best advice is to read the beginners thread that you're supposed to read before you post. 
 
What you buy will be dependent on how much money you're willing to spend. An AT-LP-60 will work, but is not considered a good turntable by any measure and prolonged use will damage your records.

I haven't listened to the album yet, but it seems like bands always get just a little more, I don't know, accessible?, when they go to Triple Crown, so I'm slightly nervous about that. But I'm looking forward to it regardless.
