Here's a current, ever so slightly crooked photo of what I'm working with these days:

6' 155lbs. here.  Mediums all day, every day.  Even started hang drying my shirts because every time I'd put them in the dryer they'd shrink too much.

I think its a completely appropriate response, and although I wish they would have said this all sooner, I understand the need to digest it and get their proverbial ducks in a row.
 
It's still all he said-she said right now, and if it comes out that the allegations were false, then it wouldn't be the first time something like this has happened. I think because of the community's rush to judgement, there probably wont be any coming back from this whether it happened or didn't.

If nothing else, kids got a real future as a politician. That was one of the best acknowledgments of something without admitting any guilt or apologizing I've ever seen.

The impedance and sensitivity is more important than the Watt rating because both speaker and amp manufacturers quote Watts in different ways and in some cases just lie.
 
I'm simplifying quite a bit as all the measurements affect each other and obviously you cant use a 500W amp on 100W speakers so they need to be close and in general impedance is measured in Ohms and you want to make sure your amp can cope with the speaker load but 4 to 8 is normal with 6 Ohms being common now. And Sensitivity is measured in DB with the higher the number meaning they are easier to drive so a Valve (tube) amp is generally looking for speakers with a sensitivity in the low 90's but a very beefy solid state amp can drive speakers that have a sensitivity in the mid 80's. Most modern hifi amps want to see something around 87 or 88db but there is leeway either way.

This album is the disappointment of the year. I honestly wasn't expecting much though, but man..

TGUK - Red Letter Day and the RSD Miles Davis early albums box set spring to mind. 69 Love Songs, too. 10"s are kinda obnoxious, though.

The Clash -  Black Market Clash has always been my favorite 10" release. I also prize my Rancid - Let's go 2x10" on white. If you are bargain diving and come across Songs by Tom Lehrer or Rickie Lee Jones - Girl At Her Volcano those are pretty great and can be found cheap

I agree Rooks, I never even look at the EE portion of the board. Would love to see music all grouped together regardless of whether or not a vinyl PO exists.
