Gf and I bought an RV. So far it's just been a lot of work but should be a fun toy throughout the summer.

its huge. I wish we could have gone a little smaller. Deal was right, though.

Consider stopping at the Abita Brewery on your way to New Orleans. It's free, and you serve yourself, so you can go crazy, or just sip on their awesome root beer. It's on the North shore of Lake Ponchartrain, so only a slight detour for ya.

Your history side might enjoy hitting a plantation too. They're a little ways out of the city, so it might take up too much of your trip. Oak Alley and Houmas House are nice, but closer to Baton Rouge. Destrehan is reasonably close to New Orleans and is supposed to be nice.

I thought it was excellent. The visuals kicked so much ass and made the album itself so much more cohesive, even though it's still a great listen without the movie.

Funny story: this vehicle was a "gift" for graduating high school....that I was then asked to pay for half of. I was 17 at the time and didn't think anything about needing to be on the bill of sale or anything. So I've paid for half of the vehicle without earning credit or anything of like. When they asked what I might be interested in, I said a jeep....and I also said only of its a manual. When I asked my parents why they got an auto transmission they said "you don't know how to drive one yet" and I said "I would've learned pretty quickly don't you think?". Basically, it's what I wanted but since I had little to no say, this is where I'm at. Also the title never got transferred over to me, so my vehicle is sitting at a shop waiting on the mail for the title so I can do the financing.
Long and the short, I've brought up the fact about manual transmission with my folks while attempting to get the title to the vehicle.

I probably spend $100 a month or so on my habit. When I first started collecting I was a little outta control but never to the point where I had trouble paying bills. The only time I came close was around 2008 when the company I work for was losing money and I almost lost my job. My wife and I have separate checking accounts, she doesn't know what I spend and I don't know what she spends on a daily basis. So far, we've been married for a little over 3 years and as long as all the bills are paid we have no reason not to trust each other when it comes to finances. The bills are split 50/50 and we also have a joint "vacation account" we use for trips. She never questions my record purchases and has even talked me into getting some items that were pretty expensive. I think she's a keeper.

for the past 3 years, i've been trying to go. other things always seem to get in the way, but maybe this year will be the year.

i gotta go for sure at some point though. it's on my birthday every year and i honestly can't think of a better way to celebrate than getting drunk and seeing some awesome bands with some awesome random vc pals down in florida.

I did wind up hitting the Louisville Slugger factory last week and really enjoyed it.
It was a cool way to start the day before heading up to Cincinnati for Opening Day, Phillies/Reds.

    The annual game sounds awesome.

i've actually heard pretty mixed reviews about the Louisville Slugger Factory, so you might want to do a little bit of research on it before you make that decision! unless you're a super baseball nerd, it might not be the most interesting thing in the world.

i used to work for a company that worked very closely with LS though, and i've been to about a dozen other baseball museums across the country, so this one is a must-see for me. i've always wanted to go, just never made a dedicated trip to make it happen.

if you're into baseball, though, the two best museums in the country are the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, and the Negro League Baseball Museum in Kansas City, Missouri. and if you're SUPER ridiculous about baseball, the Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum in Greenville, South Carolina is an incredible visit, too.

every year i play an 1860s style baseball game with a team representing the Shoeless Joe museum. we play against a team representing the Ty Cobb Museum (from Royston, Georgia - also a neat museum if you're in the area). each year we alternate who hosts the game. 2015 was our 7th annual game, and it was held in SC. so 2016 will be in Royston, probably some time in September or October but no date has been set yet. if anybody is interested in coming out to see that, it's always a really fun time and i can make a post when we get closer. it's free to watch.

here's me hitting a triple in one of the games:

Vinyl Collective was an imprint of Suburban Home. It was 100% owned and operated by Virgil.

Vinyl Collective Co-Op was a member run label. There were 200 individual owners with virgil operating as the head. He was a shit head and misappropriated Vinyl Collective Co Op funds into his dying label.

Leave Vinyl Collective and Vinyl Collective Co-Op dead and buried.

I get the while vindictive feedback business but there should either be an automatic negative placed for nonpayment or the option to leave feedback for nonpayment. As for disputes like these there should be some note for cases that buyers lose or a scam alert of some type. Haven't sold there in a few years and probably not going to anytime soon.

definitely have him send it back and then give him the refund. if you fight him and win the case, he will 100% leave you negative feedback. if you fight him and lose the case, he has your record and your money.

get the record back, refund him the money, and then re-list the record. once you issue the refund through eBay, they'll refund the seller fee from the first auction so you're not out any money. if the bidding went as high as it did the first time, it'll go similarly high the second time because the person/people who lost out on the first auction won't want to miss out again.

just be respectful and apologetic (even if you have done nothing wrong) to the dude you're dealing with now and make sure you get your record back. it'll all work out.
