Jesus Christ. The album has been out for barely 24 hours and they have a year of touring ahead. This band takes upwards of 5 years to release a new album, what would be the point of breaking up now?

How did you hear the white vinyl already!?

I saw them last night in Chicago and recorded the whole show using a Shure MV88. It sounds incredible. If I have some free time, I'll try to split the tracks soon and do a little EQ. 

All of you know that if these were being sold at comiccon, limited to 1500 for $35, you'd all be begging someone to pick this up for you and offer to pay "a little bit extra". When you actually have access to it, you all complain.

i don't know what your specific experience entailed, but BTV has been, basically, a one man operation for a long time. Scott is awesome and I've had nothing but awesome interactions with him. And the releases have always been top notch. I can't say anything near the same for T&N. Their overpriced bare bones releases that sound like shit aren't exactly a step up from BTV. BTV knows how to actually release quality physical records. Sometimes he just gets backed up.

This whole thing put a sour taste in my mouth. Even if they offered it today for $20, I don't think I'd pick it up.  I haven't listened to Ixora since Aaron was a total dick on twitter defending their bullshit prices either. Kind of ruins it.

probably. they want control over every aspect. how limited the records will be, how many stores will get each record, which stores they will screw. record store day has gotten drunk with power.
