It's a shut-up-and-take-my-money situation every time 36CF puts out a new album.  For me they're like Deftones, never disappointed.  Probably going to go and see them in Dayton in September.
 
I actually thought Time and Trauma was fantastic.  Collisions and Castaways is probably my least favorite album of theirs, which is to say it's the smallest amount of awesome.  I want Snow-capped Romance and Rest Inside the Flames on vinyl so badly, both of those albums are amazing.

Granted I thought their last album wasn't quite as stellar as "The Tide and It's Takers," or "Collisions and Castaways," but I enjoyed it. "Death Eater" sounds pretty good on first listen, so I'm likely in fer this as well!

I camped out at Sound Garden in Baltimore, where I bought the "Country Ham" 7-inch last year. I did not see it on the table.

Fuckers. I seriously want that album.

I wish Swan Damage wasn't locked away by Warner forever.

Would have been nice if they made it a 2 LP, and added the bonus cuts and gave the music plenty of room to "breathe."
 
Still, it will be nice to have this and not have to pay $100+ to get it.

That's one song on the album that I just cannot stand!

The pricetag is dumb you could buy like 3-4 Parliament albums for that price, and have the very sound he is emulating. Not trying to be a total hater, this album is decent but it's just sounds like he just tried to copy that sound. Also no Parliament album will have a song as annoying as that "she wants to go to California" song or whatever he says

The "Country Ham" 7-inch came out last year.

I don't know how much production work he did, but Eric Frederic (Facing New York/Wallpaper.) is also credited on every track. Really diggin' the two songs I've heard so far.

Pre-ordered that limited red to match their last release! Saw most of their show when they just played in MD and they were great! Hopefully they tour much closer to me in support of this album!

I will totally get "Devil Without A Cause." Still love that album, and when I saw him tour back in...2000 I think it was awesome. My 16 year old self loved his show and the scantily clad dancers only helped. Powerman 5000 opened that show too. Ahh to be young again.

I really only want three releases this year and I have no doubt that Rich Robinson's new 7" will be easy to find. Maybe mildly worried 'bout David Bowie's "Earthling," but not really.
My main concern is the Transformers gatefold. It's been a favorite movie/soundtrack since I was a kid so I really wanna be able to snag it.
But my local beer store is gonna have a lot more fun and cool stuff happenin' this year.

Went ahead and PO with Amazon. I hope I get it...but my girlfriend and my wallet hope I don't.
