I also concur with what folks are saying about setup @Gumbo72203

A better setup makes a dramatic difference.

Also, vinyl has flaws...you either come to embrace them...or you stick with CD or digital.

Your set up has A LOT to do with it. You should do your research, cause the more work you put in the more you'll get out. As Thomas said, it's mostly likely your set up not being able to handle the slight scratches. And no, cleaning doesn't fix scratches, but it does remove a lot of what you think might be scratches. Not every pop or click is simply a 'scratch'.

Really though, learn more about the hobby. Learn how how records are pressed, how they work, how the information is read, what effects play, how to fix it, etc. You say 'it isn't my set up' but you aren't that versed in the hobby, opposed to many on here. I'm not saying there are people in here better than you, but why not listen to the advice more seasoned people have to offer instead of make complaints only to brush off someone giving you advice. You complain about the common stuff that no one complains about cause we all know better, and that these are common 'issuses'. The fact that they aren't even issues, it just what's you get to deal with. We tell you what it is, how to fix it, but you'd rather complain. C'mon, man. So many nice people are trying to help. Why not take the advice, build, learn, grow. If you spent half the time learning as you do complaining, you would solve most of your issues. Think of all of the time, frustration, shipping, negotiating of replacements, money, etc you'll save ...

This is my last time giving you advice. It's always in one ear out the other. Do what ya want, except complain - stop complaining. You're a grown man.

Getting too many records and swapping in a few different components so I had to make some changes to the setup.  I decided to actually get a rack for components and now have moved my record cleaning station to on top of the Kallax.

I feel like to do Apocalypse "right" it would take a trilogy of its own.  I'm not sure how they could have made him more powerful in one movie.  One of the few characters stronger than him was the one who had to "destroy" him.

Age of Apocolypse really could have been told over several movies, since we got one, I'm pleased with the result.

I meannnnnnnnnnnnnnn he does have a point @Gumbo72203. You have been coming here to complain more than anything lately. This isn't Tumblr. This is to talk about post rock and post metal. It isn't to complain that bands aren't responding to you on Facebook. The way I see it, if they respond, cool. If don't, move on. These people don't exist to serve you or any of their other fans. Sure they play music, maybe even for a living, but they're human. Give them some credit that they have a life to live, and take into account that you're probably one of many people who message them on a daily basis. They must get tons of inquiries about various things. Sometimes life just gets busy. This thread has been slow and dragged down lately with your constant complaining. Your personality is either end of the spectrum. You're either super stoked on a band, celebrating if someone responded to your message or you're not feeling an album, and bitching cause someone didn't respond to you on some messaging platform.

The complaining doesn't add any substance to anything. Yeah, it sucks, but we don't want to hear it. This isn't the vent thread. Stay on topic.

And at the end of the day just take solace that you're able to listen to the music in some form. So you can't find a CD (I won't even get into that discussion), someone sold an LP before you could get it, etc. Who cares. Listen on Spotify or Bandcamp, whatever, and enjoy. We don't have to own every piece of music we love in a tangible form. Sure it would be nice, but don't NEED to. So please, dial it back, stop being selfish, contribute, and all will be good.

I do agree with the comments above though. The packaging is the least practical album in my entire collection. What a pain in the ass and doesn't fit my oversized sleeves either.
I have 3 albums of over 1000 lp's that don't fit any sleeves. Explosions has 2 of the 3.
