If you guys didn't see the Facebook Q&A, Casey kind of confirmed what people have been suggesting with Act 1-3.  He mentioned having Nicky Barkla (the artist who did the covers for Act IV and V) redo the covers for 1-3 and possibly do a box set with whatever music component there is for Act VI.
 
I haven't watched the entire session because it's over and hour and a half long.  But he also mentioned wanting to repress the Color Spectrum.

For real, I could go into every Fallout Boy and Panic at the Disco or Sepultra or what the fuck ever thread and trash it or say I don't get it. But I don't, because I'm an adult. Seriously @MayCauseDeath, go stick a toothpick under you toenail and kick a wall.

@MayCauseDeath Pretty sure VC is for connecting with those of us who have common interests and want to connect with others who feel the similarly about those interests. It's not for ppl to board jump finding bands, albums, genre's, TV shows, movies, etc., that they DONT like, just to hop on and voice they're obviously negative opinion about. Yes you're entitled to said opinion, but this specific thread is obviously not the place for it. If you wanna say you don't dig the score, fine, so be it. But if you wanna trash the show, go start a "I HATE STRANGER THINGS" thread in the 'Everything Else' boards.

I think their last album is my favorite but I like the first two singles off this one as much as anything off the last I think. The new one is growing on me, it just kind of sounds like a Foo Fighters song at the beginning. 
 
Not exactly like Foo, I guess like Foo Fighters if they were a decent band or something.

I love the beginning Keith sounds amazing and those riffs at the end are killer

Just want to say this right now:. I think 2016 is officially the best year for new music in a long time.  Possibly in my lifetime.

holy shit. This is exactly what I was hoping for. Cannot wait for my preorder to come in.

This leaked -- it's quite early too, so I'm fairly surprised. Definitely has elements of all of their past releases; pretty solid upon first listen. I had it on in the background while doing some work. Looking forward to giving it another listen.

Ah, I see. Sean is a personal friend and not a dickhead or ego driven at all, he's oddly a big fan and coalesce has always been super cool to us. Was awesome to have him contribute his voice and write lyrics, definitely a "oh shiiitt" kinda moment. We wanted to get him on the last record but it didn't work out schedule wise, he went out of his way this time which was awesome. Coalesce4lyfe

Good thing it sounds FUCKING AWESOME. God damn I love this album so much. So glad to finally have it on wax. No pops, skips, or cracks on my end. Everything is really warm, and raw. The disc is thin, the packaging is light, but damn the sound is all there. You guys are gonna be happy.

^ THIS. September is shaping up to be one of the most exciting months for new music in recent memory. Which also means I won't have any freakin time to do anything but spin all my new records each evening after work. 
 
And man, what a band. Love them so much. I still remember getting my friend to download Act 1 on his ZUNE player so I could listen. And only way I knew of them was that it was Casey from TREOS. And I figured if I loved TREOS then I'd love The Dear Hunter. How right I was now 10 years later...

128kbps MP3 (early 2000's MP3 codec too) to CDDA CD-R ripped to WAV, then converted to 256 AAC for "mastering". It will sound amazing!

If this wasn't on ETR I would probably pick it up. Wonder what the source is...
