What do you really expect? There are several longtime posters that are nothing but abusive to anyone they disagree with. Nothing happens to them because they're buddy-buddy with the mods.

Okay, even I think this is going a bit too far. Where is Juan? It’s time to lock this thread.

and if you read his comment as anything but sarcasm and obvious disdain for anyone who would purchase a THPS censored bootleg OR a $35 30 seconds to mars reissue, well my friend, you are quite a dumb ass.

I feel like the board collectively thinks it's respectable. They'll get a thumbs up for that but they still are pretty terrible.

...and using it as an example for why I should take any other values as a grain of salt, since they all share a database

There will probably never be a good sounding pressing of it unless they completely remix & remaster the album from the tapes. I love it to death, but it is one of the most obnoxiously produced records to such a puzzling degree that it literally hurts sometimes to listen to it.
This is also a perfect example of why I don't trust the loudness war DR database...the first press of Three Cheers is like one of the flattest, worst-sounding records ever and it's got reasonably impressive DR scores:

I'm not going to question their values but this company has never had it together. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a bonus opportunity for them to catch up or take a break.

I agree with this. Had it when I visited for the War on Xmas shows this year.
Not the worst thing in the world. But yeah, not necessarily good either.
also, there's a part two, if anyone wants to see Milo or Fat Mike try it

Went to bullmoose. Too much of a sucker for this album.
I really don't like how hard Kill Rock Stars are trying to cash in on this. Seems distasteful to me.

Upping pressing numbers after one sells out is always a shitty move. Just add a black option or another color it’s that easy.
Not too upset because I’ve wanted these for a LONG time and would’ve bought an unlimited black version anyway but still..

The glow in the dark 12" is another in a very long list of Cleopatra reissues of the same 3 tracks in various colors. It's not authorized by artists and generally considered to be a low quality release. Don't bother with it.
I'll be picking up the other three 12"s, though it does seem likely that they will be easy to find discounted in the not too distant future, just like the recent New Order reissues. I'm not sure how much of a market there is for 12" singles these days.

i can appreciate your perspective while still understanding that two wrongs don't make a right, and that using any anecdotal experiences and extrapolating that across the entire USPS doesn't really make much sense. alas, this topic has been beaten to death, and no one seems to be changing their opinion. so everyone just keep doing you and who cares what i think. i try to live my life under the theme of "do no harm" and it works for me.

That was a legitimate question. I'd love to hear where you saw that transportation is the thing that's doing the USPS in.

What possible source could you have for this in regard to the USPS? There are a number of things burdening the USPS before logistics come in to play. (Pensions, etc)
You know mail fraud is a federal offense, right? The irony of you having no problem joking about committing it is not lost on me, considering you have a history of wielding of moderator status on a message board,
