I was a bit neutral on the title track and thinking maybe a pass, but hell no. Instant buy if/when the vinyl is released.

Talk about no hype around the release. It's really good.

I love this band, I will definitely be picking it up at some point, their first record was excellent!

TL;DW? Here's 40mins condensed into a handy list:
1) clean your Thin Lizzy LP using a brush or windex
2) hook your turntable's audio prongs up to a soundcard (ground to pre-amp/paper clip if your turntable is ancient)
3) download audacity and change audio preferences to use said soundcard.
4) slap record in audacity and play your record. Don't forget to flip it. Make sure to walk really heaviliy nearby.
(Optional step: add "vinyl noise" SFX onto recording for extra authenticity then use EQ to crank the treble)
5) export recording to a high quality 128kbps MP3 and put it on your Zune. I'll do another 40 minute tutorial soon on how to put this MP3 on your Zune.

There is a splatter store exclusive, a rainbow deluxe glitter x 2 at $49.99, but with special features to be revealed, and a milky clear vinyl which looks to be the standard store release.

Thanks for the thread Roandy, I bought a Dinked edition which  is selling fast

First album for 5 years, expected around 31 Jan. There is a black/gold splatter dinked edition limited to 500 which comes in an exclusive sleeve with signed & numbered 12" x 12" print + lyric booklet. There is also a signed gold indies version exclusive from Rough Trade, which I assume is a signed cover and not just a print. I've been looking to add a dinked edition to my collection for a while but nothing has really appealed up to now, so really looking forward to this.

Regarding the current cost of buying items from the US it may not be an option here, but I crossed a line a few weeks back and bought something I wanted  at a similar price from the US on paypal credit.😣 I didn't open the account specifically for that purpose, but figured another few pounds a month over 12 months wouldn't make a massive difference.
