That’s rad. I love it. I just got it the other week too. Completely changed the feel of my set up. Love mid century modern. 
 
The Fortes are such a big jump from the Heresy’s for the price. You get a lot more low end. If you got the Heresy’s you’d probably end up adding a sub to it. With the fortes you don’t need to do that. The fortes are also very efficient so you don’t need a lot to power them. My CXA61 is more than enough to drive them. I don’t crank it higher than 50% ever, and usually listen around 30%. 
 
And I’m sticking with all Cambridge for a couple reasons: my OCD is happy - they all match, the design is clean, I know it will work well together, the price is great - you get a lot for your money, and it’s seamless.

I agree. They were instant preorders but now I'm not sure why. I liked about half of Cassadaga and haven't really liked anything since. Even the album art has sucked since then now that I think about it. I'll probably take them to amoeba at some point to swap for some store credit.

OK so weird turn of events, when they sent me that cancellation notification, they suggested I wait to order the set until the item is listed as in stock to which I replied that I ordered BECAUSE I had just that day received the in stock notification from them. I never did get my refund it looks like and magically today I just got an email notification from them that my "order" is being shipped. So I guess they either kept me in the queue OR perhaps they cancelled someone else's order with what stock they had because I sort of pushed back. I'll never know which scenario is true or if its some other situation but I was fully expecting a refund and to need to order again next time I got a notification of stock.
 
Anyway, here I am awaiting delivery of a new one.

Got my Siamese Dream from Deep Discount and of course it is beat to hell. I think I will wait 12 years and then contact the record label about a replacement!

i miss 1996 sometimes.  Tonight Tonight video played back to back with Bone Thugz’ Crossroads every hour it seems on the MTV Beach House…….ahhh….Ok back to the arguing.

If the item is broken, take it back to the store for a refund. That's what they do. You're not taking a high road by keeping the item to protect the brick and mortar.
 
Just today, I bought a camp shower. It's a little pump that connects to a sprayer that allows me to wash off while camping. It doesn't work. Guess what I'm going to do? Normally, it's obvious but let me spell it out. I'm going to take it back to the store. And they will accept it. If they don't have a replacement, I'll get my money back. It'll be a great exchange and I'll happily shop there again. Sometimes products are defective and need to be returned.
 
You still haven't taken one proactive step to get your records replaced. You're inventing problems and then complaining about them.

For some dumb reason I sold the black 180g first run of this for $30. No idea why I would do that. Now here I am chasing a lesser version.

It's "All ex is on fire" for me

There was a long article about plants being backed up in sundays NYT. I know plants are backed up because more people are pressing records but I haven't seen or noticed any lack of records in the stores I go to so that's why I asked.
 
I'm guessing the real reason this showed up on the rsd site is because the label is simply vinyl, which at one time was a real label doing represses but now it is a different label ran by bootleggers under the same name (as told to me on reddit).
 
So database/clerical error, not desperation by rsd is my hunch.
