I just think it's funny that people are commenting about the pricing without seeing one LP priced.
 

Kristian opened up the store for me today and it is totally awesome. If you find yourself in NYC and you don't visit the shop then you are seriously missing out!

It's small with good vibes and insanely awesome curated selection. If you are a serious collector it will be hard to not walk away with something.

Make sure you go to Limited To One Records before leaving town. Holy shit, what an insane record store. 

for anyone in the NYC / NJ / CT area..  we're going to have a few of the singles at my shop, Limited to (more than) One.

the best thing to do, if shipping domestically, with media mail.  is print a shipping label thru Paypal.  When someone paid you, look at your paypal account 
and there will be an option.
if the records aren't too heavy.  you probably don't even need to weigh them, just put like 3lbs and print it out at home.
tape it up and drop it off at UPS .

politics aside, I didn't realize that the top 50 highest "pay what you wills" will get a lathe limited to 50.
 

am I the only asshole here who bought and then realized you can only pick them up at the show??

honestly I wouldn't worry about the other releases..  I bet th "Official VC pressing" and the Fuzz Club / 100 will be the best ones out there!!

I know the thing I love the most is walking into a shop and seeing some crazy rare record on the wall.
maybe something I didn't know existed or something I have never seen in person.
 
 a lot of shops use this as a chance to over price these records but we are trying our best to
not.
 
also we have some cool ideas on how to present the LPs that we haven't shared with a lot of people.
but we're going to be featuring all of our LPs with our own Obi Strips. 
these will make flipping and digging easier.
our obi's will have all the pressing information, color , condition, price and other cool info on it.
 
i'm hoping buyers will appreciate the extra effort.

listen, I am going to say this once .
 
we are pricing everything in the store at the lowest possible discogs pricing
and anyone who knows me, knows that this isn't about making an extra ten bucks
or something, off of some new hard to find LP.
 
I have traveled to EU and Asia getting a lot of these records and have been (and still)
busting my ass and putting myself in debt to make this a reality.
 
if you don't like the idea, don't come.  simple as that.
 
I know a lot of people who'd like the chance to see  and check out the condition of an LP before buying it.
and I know a lot of people would like a shop that focuses on contemporary music and not a lot 
of dollar bins and stuff you can buy online.

any "new" limited release we have we'll keep as long as we can.
like any new "Newbury" we buy I am going to keep under Discog's lowest asking price unless it's been out for a while.
 
we want to have those items in our shop and we're not really interested in "flipping".
but we'd love to be the shop that people say..  oh that ___ sold out.  maybe Limited to One might have some for a 
reasonable price.
