I can’t believe the records are actually red.
I’m so disappointed. -

Narrow Stairs, bruh.
1. Transatlanticism
2. Plans
3. Narrow Stairs
4. Facts
5. Airplanes
6. Photo Album
…
99. Everything from that godawful song they did for Twilight, onwards.
I also think that a 20th edition of Facts bundled with the Forbidden Love EP and the Sub Pop Singles Club 7” would have made a lot of people happy.- Corgipants and ringo_0

While I agree that Facts is grossly under appreciated, everyone knows that Transatlanticism is this band’s peak. I will not be taking questions, thank you.

It’s for using the phrase, “lactation porn pornstar” with a straight face.

Does anyone know how the black OC/YC sounds? Im looking to pick it up, but if its a bad press in general, I'd pass.
I have a copy from the last run (2018 I think?) and it sounds fine to me. It’s a nice package, regardless.

Anyone know if these are the remasters from 2016 or the original mixes? I have the 2014 represses and I'd like to finally get the original mixes on wax. There are some key parts missing from the self-titled!
These will most certainly be the same remasters that have been in and out of print for the last few years. I’m sure they’ll be identical to the last round of black pressings, which is fine because they’re all cut at 45 RPM onto 180g vinyl. They’re fucking awesome.
@daegor, the original S/T (along with Watch Out! and Crisis) pressings were single 33 RPM LPs, with the same mixes as their CD counterparts. The only album that was significantly remixed/remastered in 2014 was S/T. Overall, it’s sound is quite easily differentiated from the original; the most notable edits are on Adelleda - the lack of ambient sound in the intro and total cut of the piano outro. Also I believe the intro to Pulmonary Archery is cut short or edited pretty noticeably. Personally, I hate the remaster and never listen to it. It kills my fond middle school memories of the album. -

Can't understand the logic eh.
Listen to Irony of Dying on Your Birthday, and you’ll understand. Instant classic.

Here’s a good discussion on the topic:

The gist is that a mono cartridge can’t move in two dimensions like a stereo cartridge, and will accelerate groove wear on a stereo record.

Damn...180 grams of gold is worth like $10,000.
Plus it’s a 2LP.
FS: TDAGARIM MOV on black. NM, played once or twice. $22,235. No low ballers, I know what I have.

Do we know if these are official?
From what I gather, these are legit. The Canadian label (Aquarius/Universal) is having them done for Canadians’ RSD BF. Then releasing them online internationally afterwards.
Edit: also, this album fucken rips. Don’t let anyone tell you any different.

I actually didn't listen to this record until like 2 years ago and now I love it so I'd like one now 😄
Buy @wiscodeman ‘s clear MOV copy. It has the worst packaging of any pressing, but the best sound of any pressing. I have a black MOV as my playing copy and it’s worth its weight in gold.

So proud to be posting on Page One of a BN thread. I am honoured.
On a more serious note, doesn’t everyone on earth have at least three copies of this album already? From three different pressings? Or is that just me?
… hmm, that wasn’t much of a serious note at all. Sorry.

I'm going to delay buying this, wait too long and then regret not having bought it before it sold out...
Is there a US link for the clear? Seems like it was sold out in the UK.
Clear was UK only, and it’s sold out.
Black is all over the place - just buy the damn things, man! Also, buying them from Dig is cheaper only if you select standard shipping, which in my experience means “lost parcel” most of the time.

I wonder how expensive US shipping is, it could actually be more expensive that the UK This Is Dig Store, where it was only $82 USD ($60GBP) for the 3 record bundle.
From the Rhino store:
Single Item: (DOMESTIC)
$7.50 USD
2 or more items: (DOMESTIC)
$11.99 USD
*INTERNATIONAL
$15.99 USD

US Link:
https://store.rhino.com/music/vinyl-1.html
Black bundle and all 3 albums as standalone.
Edit: $15.99 shipping to Canada regardless of quantity ordered is pretty fucken sweet, too.

$40 USD double LPs and $35 USD single LPs, $22 USD to ship each one, with a 4/3 exchange rate…
Sorry y’all, but I’m out. It’s been a riot.

Glad to see some love for PTTFYH. I want more hardcore and less butt rock, Buddy. You can do it.
