so funny reading through hoping to find info on the sound quality of the actual new repress but just seeing so many freak out over not getting the first pressing etc LOL

are the matrix the same on both the original & repress?

I don't know if it had been discussed, but i went to sub pop to see how much i paid after seeing the best buy price. they have pics up of the packaging and mention this in the description:

Got my job hifi version today. No lenticulars, little cards were included.

It seems that the boxset no longer includes the demo CD which is a real shame.
The listing for it was replaced by the individual polaroid, which is a nice addition but I love hearing their sketches, loops and demos.

Tame Impala webstore versions were only shipped out today *frustrating* 
 
I think I checked a barcode or something from their site a while back and it matched the EU pressing so maybe opaque.

Finally got around to clean and listen to my copy of m.a.a.d. city. Was a bit concerned about your negative comments regarding the pressing but mine plays perfectly.
 
Now I just hope Top Dawg or whatever start pressing Butterfly on wax, can't get enough of it. Perhaps a Black Friday special release?
