The singer Brandin was a regular at a bar where I did sound for a bit and suffice it to say that he has never stopped living in and for the moment that they recorded their first music video. I genuinely think it's the only thing he ever talked about to me... which was pretty surreal, because I loved them on that show. There's no one more sad than a drunken failed rock star at the local watering hole.

The other day I received notification that I had ordered a Superdrag album in October that I definitely ordered while drunk and forgot. Makes me wonder how much random shit will show up on my front door that I don't ever remember buying.

I miiiight be down to trade my only copy. Big fan of Nothing and I like Integrity alright, but not sure I care for their covers (based off the snippets released). I'll jam it when I get it and def let you know if I wanna trade.

I think was on a day where there was like 3 pre-orders and I was in the middle of a crap ton of meetings. Basically if it doesn't make it to my spreadsheet immediately, I forget.
 
Yep yep.  It's quite fun actually. It's very robust. It gets dropped when an order is confirmed, has a column for the date they think it's going to show up, additional column for the true delayed dates and reasons, the original price I payed and tracking numbers. Rather than just getting deleted, I have a Python script set up that automatically rotates things that have been delivered to the other pages. It allows me to give out legendary awards such as "Longest Pre-Order Time" and "Most delays" 

And as for the donations, the burn unit hasn’t received any yet and refuse to take them if they do get any. 

I think the majority of people have less of an actual problem with the show and more of a problem with how the organizers have painted themselves as martyrs, compared what the did to the Black Lives Matter protests, have been saying ivermeticin is a cure, and saying anyone that disagrees is a sheep that lives in fear.  Like I said early, there’s a reason you don’t see certain people involved getting dragged through the mud. 

The show was in NYC? The Yankees have 10,000 fans at every game. You think they're enforcing masks? Watch a game on TV and see how many people have masks on. Are they distanced in their seats? Sure. You think they're distanced when they leave the stadium and wait for the train? You can eat inside in a 100 sq ft restaurant with 25 people and no masks. The fact is the whole thing is politicized. Outdoor transmission is rare.

Uh...not meaning to add fuel to this clusterfuck...but comparing NYC (or state) to the rest of the country when it comes to any type of response...is a little bit lopsided and uneven and unfair...
 
As much as people love to say that FL is like little NY...things are a complete clusterfuck here with the vaccine and overall handling of the COVID crisis. 
 
Bottom line in my damn opinion...as it comes to this whole Madball BNB concert thing...people chose to disregard the basic science and stand by the politicized side of things and make themselves outed and known. Sure, it's their choice, but don't start crying and whining that you're being piled on for your skewed stance.

Flying Lotus' soundtrack for Yasuke dropped digitally today and vinyl is up for pre-order with an9/24 release.  I can't tell if red is the standard because Bullmoose and the Flylo bandcamp have red available.

Same. 18 year old me is so pleased I finally get to own a copy of this record. When I got into it, the first press was long gone, so I gave up looking for a while. Then the hot topic presses came and went in a flash when I wasn’t looking and were instantly $250. Then came the copies in those fucking box sets weighed down with so much dog shit that I would never want. Now, finally, I can retire this search. Gonna spend the 200 bucks I saved on a nice bottle of Lagavulin and a couple packs of Captain Blacks. 

I saw that he was liking JJ's posts, but that wasn't enough to condemn the man because he could have just been clueless.
 
This, though... this is enough to condemn the man. Crazy how all these old men go around yelling about "PMA this and PMA that" but are so quick to fly off the handle at anyone that disagrees with their views?
 
Additionally, when calling them "Pro-MAGA," all their responses quickly denied the accusations and then said something about hating Democrats' "dogma." Which is weird, because that's exactly something that 45 would say. These people don't even know they're Q anon, ffs.

I enjoy Phoebe's music when the mood is right, but I can sympathize with anyone who would say her stuff can be a snooze.  That's an opinion and I can respect it, in an actual conversation or exchange of meaningful dialogue.  We're talking about an instance of neither.
 
I saw that TDWP thread get bumped this morning, abuzz with comments of a new EP.  I could have very easily popped in there to ask why anyone is listening to Hot Topic-core in 2021.  But I see no real benefit from doing so, nor am I starved enough for attention to consider baiting replies with a contribution like that.
 
It'd be one thing if someone openly asked the board how they felt about Phoebe's music.  But uninitiated it's just weird.  Just because you can, doesn't mean you should, etc.
