So I was an idiot and didn't pre-order the New Surrender livestream and they sound really good. I really like the atmospheric touch they did with the guitars throughout. Hopefully they pop up online again.

Could the "a-round" be in reference to a lyric in Division St (on War all the Time)? 
 
It's wishful thinking on my part. I really would be surprised if it isn't Full Collapse... Even though some of the signals announcements did have War all the Time-style visuals. I guess we'll see....

I bought a Full Collapse press a few months back (for a reasonable price) because it was my favorite albums as a teenager. I'm missing War so I hope they're repressing that.

I just discovered this album. He borrowed Travis Barker and used the tropes from the most popular Blink and NFG albums and this came out lol
 
Good songs:
forget me too 
concert for aliens (the prechorus sounds exactly like something NFG would do) 
drumming throughout because of Travis 

The lyrics are bad, the melodies are generic, his vocals are bland...and yet I can't stop listening to this album? It's like the McDonald's of albums this year for me. I know it's trashy and devoid of substance but I keep coming back for more.

I still think this guy is an industry plant.

My copy came today. Sounds good and the color looks great. 
 


 

Right but all that applies to me and I still like it. I guess musically it doesn’t sound that different than what’s out there today, but so many pop punk bands are either directly or indirectly influenced by NFG but I also never stopped listening to NFG and don’t listen to a lot of newer pop punk bands

At this point in time I'd almost prefer someone in the band came out and said something like "lyrics cheesy cuz album title, chill out we know" just so people could step back and enjoy the music for what it is. But I guess people listen more closely to pop punk lyrics than I do and it matters to them?
