Apparently teams haven't learned after Pujols, Hamilton, Fielder and others. The money isn't the problem, it's the contract length. I'd be okay with someone paying Cano $25 million a year, but at only five years or so. These 7-10 year contracts need to stop. If that player doesn't perform, good luck finding someone willing to take on the rest of the contract.

I love watching Drummond play. The dude is a monster. He's still so young, but he's going to be a fantastic player.
