Here's what I came home with from the Scranton convention this weekend. First one on my leg.
 

Oh wow.  I DO REALLY think that these Nickelback presses are going to end up being very RARE and LIMITED.  I would be extremely upset if someone ordered them in BULK and then sold them on the aftermarket.  Please DO NOT EXPLOIT this thread for a selfish, lucrative opportunity by buying 60 copies of each.  That would really discourage me since this release should go to TRUE FANS of music and not the SAVVY FLIPPERS of vinyl.  I will get in on this HOT PRESS before others use it to make INSANE PROFITS.

Dave's the worst. I'd take Creed and Nickelback COMBINED before I chose that honking goose.  Enjoy your favorite band, DMB. 

Hoping for the Dasboard catalogue

Awesome. Really hoping this means a press of Gutterflower in the future. 

I'm hoping for Dashboard, any Saves the Day, FATA, and the Emanuel debut. 

Lol I think its funny how those who grew up in the 90s like to hate on those within the same group (including myself) who obviously listened to this stuff when it came out. If not, what the hell were you listening to? Freakin Beck and Radiohead at age 8-9? Doubtful. I listened to the radio. Cuz thats what was on in the car that I rode in. 
 
So if an album is being repressed that gives me a sense of nostalgia and looking back on the days when both of my parents were still alive and together, then let me do so in peace. It doesnt mean I'm some meathead who STILL listens to that stuff. Obvisouly I've moved on, and GREW UP since then. Doesn't mean I wont ever listen to it again. 
 
I know I will. Especially when ever I pick this up and spin it for the first time. Bahahaha

Thanks! Craig Chazan (his Instagram is Boxcartattoer) did it. And I saw Nate Hudak there, he was in the same wing of the convention that Boxcar was! So many good artists there.

You guys must have all voted.  They won the contest, and are opening for Metallica on 5 dates:  May 19th in MA, June 4th in STL, June 14th in San Antonio, June 16th in Dallas and June 18th where else?  Chicago.  

This is beyond awesome for them

How was the performance? I saw them a couple of months back and thought they were amazing. Also got to chat with Evan for a while... Really nice guy.

Filmed their whole set last night at First Unitarian Church. I've got some other shows I gotta edit before I'll have a chance to work on this, but I'll have it up on YouTube within 2-3 weeks at most.

Hey, so bumping an old thread to say that I sometimes do videography for local bands and a couple weeks ago my friend's band (who I'm doing a music video for) opened for The Hotelier at Penn State. I filmed their set and put it on Youtube and it came out really cool if anyone would be interested in checking it out! They played Opening Mail for My Grandmother which was the first time I've ever heard them play it live and it was an honor to film that one especially.

I filmed their set and put it on Youtube and it came out really cool if anyone would be interested in checking it out! They played Opening Mail for My Grandmother which was the first time I've ever heard them play it live and it was an honor to film that one especially.
 
 

Haven't been on VC very much over the last 6 months. Part of reason why is because my girlfriend of 8 years was diagnosed with breast cancer last October and life has been pretty hectic. I got this piece a few months back

They said on Twitter they won't be up until they actually have them

Side-note: I avoided Home for a while because I didn't think it would live up to its massive hype, but now I listen to it like twice a day. What do I know?
