i'm too big to stage dive, but it seems the clutch thing is to go prone. so many people stage dive and then start flailing their legs trying to to even themselves out, which basically guarantees you'll kick somebody. i think it's lame but at the same time i accept that it'll happen by going to the show and going into the pit. sucks seeing people get hurt at shows though. a kid died like six months ago at a show in NYC webster hall from a botched stage dive bc nobody caught him.

sucks these dudes broke up and i never saw them live, some friends who caught them said it was one of the craziest shows they'd seen.

ah ok thanks, well yeah still if anybody gets a code that has a change of heart etc. hit me up and i'd love to figure something out, will send a record or two as recompense. i set aside money for this and am definitely trying to score one, although at $400 i guess i'll survive....

idk man, like i said, i bought a record from the same guy and have received no contact despite multiple polite messages post payment, and he sent the invoice almost immediately after i messaged him. that is unusual. people act like it's so hard to get to the post office but it's really not that difficult. even then, i've cut tons of people slack and had slack cut for me depending on circumstances, but it's irresponsible to just go awol. people fuck things up all the time with records (some ebay user just sent me a goddamn wonder years 12" instead of a touché amore rsd 7") but most things can be mitigated by communication. especially when most people have smart phones. if you are having a crazy month maybe it's not the best time for a sale, but just shooting someone an email back literally takes 3 minutes and people who say they can't fit that into their day are just making excuses for being lazy and blowing it off. obviously there are exceptions and sometimes things come out of the blue but it's hard to give the benefit of the doubt outright when the guy has 50% feedback anyway. i was hesitant about buying from him in the first place and this pretty significantly confirms that he's at least a terrible seller IMO. considering both you and i are having troubles with this seller, and he has recent bad feedback, it seems pretty likely that the records aren't coming. usually i would wait till the 44th day but some people think that if they dick you around for a month and then return the cash it's all good, which obviously it isn't.

is the user's name by chance rocketship lol? i bought a record off this guy and its looking like he's going to try to rip me off, no response after a week and a half so i guess i'm just gonna file a claim so i don't have to loan him $15 for another 20 days.

i ordered in the 2 min or so when they first went up, so fast stock didnt even show dissapearance after order, so if you got those, very impressive

that's ok, i think a decent amount of people are feeling that today, the big names from the last round all went way higher.

i've been buying since '07, first record was Kidcrash Jokes on red vinyl, have accumulated a pretty massive collection since then despite having periods of non-buying. i want to say about 700 but i STILL need to do a trade list, i've been waiting to get the whole collection in one place(but want to wait till I have a longterm residence before doing so....) so I can organize them a la High Fidelity by the year first heard.

bummed i missed mint, i love this band, can't believe it sold out so fast when their /100 mayfly 7" took months to sell. good for them! wonder if they'll have a tour variant/mint on tour, definitely a record i'd like to track down the rarest variant

got a white, very cool, has some marbling in it and is not straight white. i didn't get any arrowheads with it but assuming that was real i'm hoping some arrive in a separate envelope, i ordered this literally as soon as it went up.

that's crazy the deluxe sold out so fast, i guess i'll go check out Fool's Gold in Brooklyn tomorrow and see if they still have any copies there....

ordered one of these a few days ago, definitely hoping it gets pressed. crazy to see that Shels first full length and Mahumodo's waves have sold out now as well!

yeah like i said i'm from NC i don't mean it 100% seriously but people do go apeshit for that song there, i know hopscotch attracts a fairly seasoned crowd and had some good friends with great taste make it out this year. i think it's ultimately childish to throw a tantrum on stage anyway because the crowd, especially when its not people who came out purely for a SKM show, is pretty out of his control.

this label puts out awesome stuff in this style, i just got that Shirokuma full length yesterday and it came out beautifully.

my fav of theirs, when i saw them live recently they pulled out quite a bit from this album, was a surprisingly good show.
