PO: Elliot Smith - Either/Or (Newbury comics /1000)

Recommended Posts

I've got a question about a point that gets brought up a lot with these Newbury Comics pressings: how can people think they're over-priced, and then complain that they should be limited to less than five per customer? If they're really that over-priced, wouldn't the record buying population reflect that and mean that a low per-customer limit is meaningless since there wouldn't be much demand for the release? Conversely, if they're selling like hot cakes and people are grabbing them five at a time, wouldn't that mean the price is fair?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending NC in anyway way, in fact I've been very vocal against these represses on other threads, I just don't see how these two complains can co-exist...
