TheGhostOfRandySavage
Once I selected a shipping address it dropped the item cost to £16.66. Ohhhhh, yeah, VAT. Duh.
ExtraFox
Once I selected a shipping address it dropped the item cost to £16.66. For orders outside the EU, Amazon deducts the VAT which is 20%. It's cheaper for you to import them into the USA than for me to buy them from Amazon even though my shipping is free.
niblips
Will the UK amazon versions come with a DL of the extra tracks... that's the question.....
ExtraFox
Will the UK amazon versions come with a DL of the extra tracks... that's the question..... From the Xtra Mile site (links in post 1 of the thread), yes. 5 tracks with each record. If that means a download card then you're OK buying from Amazon. If they come from a link from Xtra Mile, then probably no.
Shelby
Also, the UK label says colored vinyl and the US one doesn't. So there's that too

ExtraFox
EF, what is that Clooney gif from? Intolerable Cruelty. The events around it made me and a friend laugh non-stop for nearly 5 minutes the first time we saw it.

(He was asking specifically about a listing from the UK, I honestly didn't think I got too shitty with him, just stated a fact and asked a question.) He's just butthurt. parkinglot
Yikes. That's disgusting. To be fair, if the label is charging $28 or whatever, that is the logical amount to charge for it. Bands whose LP's go for $12 online are usually $15 at shows (in Canada at least). Doesn't change the fact that $30 is a lot, and paying that much sucks, but at least the money is going to the band in that situation, and not the label. That's the music business, I guess. And yes, it really sucks, of course. When City & Colour toured Europe to promote Little Hell in 2011, they sold the Little Hell 2xLP for €35 (appr. $45) and the Fragile Bird 7" for €10 (appr. $13). billynomates
Anyone actually hear these yet? Are they sonically better than the OP? The originals are a little flat sounding, no bass depth to them. Wondering whether to buy or stick to the org?
