As an adult I figured out why he was wrong and what the movie was really about. Ah, growing up. Haha, me too. I used to say this line to girls I was dating when they were fed up my shit: Come on! What, did I beat you? Did I tell you you were a bad person? I mean, what the fuck? I never realized how he was the asshole. Until in my 30's. Pretty sad this movie contributed to maturation.
