timsimmons
the past 2 singles, Bullmoose has gotten more by release day and sold them on their site. Wouldn't be surprised if this one follows. Also if Bull Moose's release information has been correct the past few singles have had a larger run. Shouldnt be that hard to get one around the release time. Other than that, sign up for notices on this thread.

sunkilmoonfan
Looks like there might be some 6-LP Carnegie Hall first pressings up on Amazon for its initial release price. http://amzn.to/1GuYtng The second pressing doesn't ship until mid-July if I remember correctly. bobfrombob
The Amazon copies show as a shipping date to be determined, like it's not in stock, but they say they expect it June 24, so yeah, first pressing. There are also some copies listed from ImportCDs which do show as being in stock. But I can't find it in the ImportCDs site, only through Amazon. bobfrombob
For sure. Thanks for the heads up. I actually ordered both. Will cancel one as soon as the other ships and will cancel both if they don't ship in the next couple of weeks (I have a line on a 2nd pressing but would prefer this). Cheers

bobfrombob
Bullmoose has the second pressing of Carnegie Hall so that must be what Amazon has as well. Much earlier than advertised.
psus2h
Looks like Urban Outfitters has an exclusive cover for the Ten Songs Live from Carnegie Hall LP.

psus2h
To introduce someone to Ryan Adams, what album would you play them? The live at Carnegie Hall live show? Heartbreaker? S/T?
apirk
Probably depends on what type of music they like.

I would say either Love is Hell or Gold....LIH is my all time fav and first exposure I had...Gold is not longer a fav but id say it has most of his classics on there... Cold Roses it my 2nd favorite....cant go wrong with those 3...IMO
sacredheart
I think you gotta find something that is representative to his different styles. Cold Roses is pretty much just one style, Carnagie shows his songwriting, but it being all acoustic might not be the best way to introduce someone as some versions are quite a bit different. Maybe LIH as it has some acoustic stuff, some more upbeat stuff, and his kill me now stuff. Only thing it is missing is his country stuff. It's well written but still meh for me. Such a versatile dude though
