gumbercules
It probably shouldn't say "Complete" studio albums. cambionic, plasma36 and mcpherson123
bortx
yeah it's kind of ironic... thing is on every website I check, tracklisting includes suicide note pt I, but I guess that means nothing
mcpherson123
It probably shouldn't say "Complete" studio albums. This a million times. I will say that I really like that the Far Beyond Driven art is the same as the CD. vinyl addict
plasma36
I've almost bought those 2LP reissues a couple times but remembered hearing complaints about them. Are any of them worth buying or nah?
bgdesign
I've almost bought those 2LP reissues a couple times but remembered hearing complaints about them. Are any of them worth buying or nah? The 2xlp versions have great sound quality they are just compromised by the editing.
markok
By editing you mean what exactly? I remember reading bad things about the 2LP re-issues from amazon.com (mainly skipping and off-center problems) when they were released, but I think these were all wrong because those people used shitty equipment. I have most of them and they sound great, audiophile quality (and I consider myself one). Even Reinventing The Steel sounds great though its only 1LP (there is minimal distortion during the last song of both sides).

The radio edit for Floods was used, which cut off Dimes arpeggio solo at the end of the song.
mameeshkamowskwoz
Today's Popmarket deal on this was 10 bucks cheaper than Bullmoose. Just emailed Bullmoose to cancel and they have already confirmed that they have done so.
The Vool
Hmm, for 66.99€ I'd buy it...but there's 32.19€ shipping on top + taxes eventually...I'm out! But with free US shipping, not a bad deal!
iron666monkey
I'm very tempted to buy the Popsike deal today, but part of me thinks this set will sell for less on Amazon at some point.

psus2h
Pantera crushes. I'm feel very fortunate to have seen them twice. They absolutely killed it. Ozzfest 2000 and the Reinventing the Steel tour in 2001.

markok
Been listening to them since Revolution Is My Name was in TV and to this day I think Reinventing... is their best album, not a single filler on that.

The Vool
I love Reinventing as well...but the rest is better anyways! Nothing beats Vulgar!
psus2h
I'm in the RTS camp, but everything else is such a close second.
iron666monkey
I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks RTS is Pantera's best album, I can't take seriously. planetrakis
planetrakis
People are strange Iron666monkey, like how the hell do their very first couple albums(before cowboys) sell for more than .25? Stunning really.
psus2h
I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks RTS is Pantera's best album, I can't take seriously. That's too bad. RTS is tied with FBD for first with me. The guitar tone on both albums is just incredible.
sugarballs
I couldn't pass on this for $74 even though I have these already (represses except for 101 Proof). I like RTS but it's not even close to the top of my list. Although when I was younger I would listen to Vulgar Display more frequently than the other releases so maybe my opinion is odd too. iron666monkey
The guitar tone on FBD crushes the tone on RTS. I know this is all opinion, which is cool, I'm not here to start an argument, and certainly not here to say I'm right, and you're wrong. My first post came off that way because that's my strong opinion, but, I don't think RTS holds a candle to FBD, Cowboys, Vulgar, or GSTK. I'd rather listen to the Damageplan album over RTS. At least it's focused and has feel and drive.....and honestly better riffs for the most part.
youspinmeround
Far beyond driven is by far their best. Saw them on that tour 2 times....once with sepultura, biohazzard, prong and other time with type o. Shows with neurosis and clutch on trendkill tour were awesome. iron666monkey

I don't think a single person who followed the band since the beginning would say RTS is their best. iron666monkey
