Saxonjulin
I just bought a record on Discogs and got invoiced 32 Euro for a single lp from Netherlands to U.S. Is that normal? That sounds super high to me
Boaty McBoatface
They’re probably using tracking and delivery confirmation to cover their own ass during these trying times. I’d message the seller and ask if there are other options, if you’re willing to increase the risk of waiting longer or losing the package to save some of the cost. slinch
Netherlands is also notorious for high shipping costs, I think I pay around 20 € within EU.

One Hundred Fifty-Two
Probably a good idea to check shipping rates before buying robes, CeCeCe, ditc586 and 4 others
bridley
Sounds about right.

Tracked shipping to the US is indeed close to €30. €32 for signed delivery, including tracking and insurance. Without tracking it seems to be much cheaper, about €11. A lot of Dutch sellers on Discogs charge €29. I think that's typically for packages to 2kg. Prohibitively expensive if for a single LP, but approaching reasonable spread across 4 or 5. maximuss
Normally it cost 24 euro, now with the virus price raised to 29,30.

So that is 23 euro without track and trace. But yes, there is a hefty fee now with the Covid-19 virus going on.

robes
This seems right. Also, check how much it costs to ship a record to the Netherlands from the US now, you'll be surprised it isn't that much cheaper.
