Quite a few have clear and opaque versions, which are worth checking out. Some like the NUFAN Leche and the LagWagon Trashed have transition copies whcih are interesting colours. I'm assuming your Dignity For All split is on red and your Lazycain split is on white, yeah? that is correct. i'm pretty sure lazycain was pressed on blue as well. did the dignity split have other colors? I've never seen the Lazycain split on blue! I'll have to keep an eye out for that. A cassette of 'Mellon Collie' was my first copy of it as the Media Play - HA! - I went to to get it on release date had sold out of the CDs by the time I got there. I thought I still had it around somewhere, but I might have given it away when I finally got a CD copy. I had 'Gish' on cassette at one point as well. Related, I remember when it finally came out on LP, I could never find it for less than $45 and I thought to myself: "I *refuse* to pay that much for that album." Had I only known... i remember seeing on the shelves of Bills Records and Tapes in dallas around 98, and it being $50. i passed it up at the time, too, because i didn't have that kind of money with me. it was gone a week later and never saw one in a store since. wound up paying a stupid price for mine, but now they all go for at least 4x the amount that i payed. it's one of the few records in my collection that i'll never let go of. easily my favorite album of all time.
