gumbycross
"EMI will kick off the two-year campaign this fall with reissues of the band's 1991 debut Gish, 1993's Siamese Dream, and the 1994 compilation Pieces Iscariot. Next year will see re-releases of 1995's double album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, the 1996 box set The Aeroplane Flies High, and 1998's Adore. 2013 will bring the 2000 companion albums Machina/the Machines of God and Machina II: the Friends & Enemies of Modern Music. A best-of compilation is also set for 2013." http://pitchfork.com/news/42330-smashing-pumpkins-to-reissue-back-catalog/ Yah?

enjoyadrian
in a video posted today billy corgan said these will be coming out on vinyl also. So excited for this, but not the timeline these will come out in (2011-13). An Aeroplane vinyl boxset would be awesome.

seafoamgreen
I bought a new legit copy of Siamese Dream not two years ago at Reckless here in Chicago. And I'm not sure Gish ever went out of print. I guess a remaster on HQ vinyl might be okay though, as my copies of those are pretty flimsy.
almightyseancore
i already own all of this, but it would be nice to finally see aeroplane flies high and machina 2 on vinyl. also... Missed out on the original. https://www.auralexploits.com/product09_458.htm caroline still prints these. gish too. i don't think they ever stopped. theres thousands of them out there. mcpherson123
WILL. BUY. EVERYTHING. !!!!!!! The only one I have is Machina I and I think SD and Adore were repressed in the past 4 years. I can't believe that the new copies I've seen on amazon and in stores could possibly a continuous run since 1993 and 1998 respectively. suchashorttime
isn't there a big bootleg market for mellon collie? i feel like 1 out of every 2 or 3 people that gets their hands on one of the existing copies ends up worrying about it being a boot. that album is so good. one of the most important of my childhood.
