timsimmons
I wouldn't trust that info. I didn't even get a shipping notification and got mine today.
minor incident
I wouldn't trust that info. I didn't even get a shipping notification and got mine today. That's odd. I've always gotten shipping notifications from Third Man. And my packages always arrive, like clockwork, 3 days later.
serum7
It seems like a nice set. So much so that I almost regret having absolutely zero interest in Willie Nelson. Sums it up for me as well.
bathroommonkey
my vault 16 side a of the lp set has a center label for side three. other than that i'm pretty happy with the set. i think i'm gonna skip number 17.
mxv
Sharkticon your pictures always look so good. What is your secret? Are you just laying them on white poster board and just shooting them in a well lit room?
russtcb
16 showed up just now, can't wait to blast it later. I believe I'm going to end up doing 17. I'm not a huge Willie fan but most of the songs I do like by him are on there.

Tamubro
I just received my Vault 16 in the mail. My mailman was walking up when me and the wife were walking out the door for the airport. Heading to Cozumel! Anyway, I opened it up quick and I saw Nine Miles From The White City and in another sleeve the Elephant Booklet. Didn't have time to open up the NMFTWC...is my The White Stripes Demos 7" inside NMFTWC???? Or did Third Man forget to put mine in? Thanks...not going to be home for 10 days and needed to know if I should be contacting them while I'm on vacation to have one waiting for me when I get home. Hoping it's sealed up with the 12", but for some reason I have a feeling they left it out. How did everyone else receive their three items? russtcb
Listened to the live album last night and loved it. Odd take on Little Cream Soda, but it was still cool. Solid, solid show overall.

oojavaguru
each copy will come with a 1inchx1inch square cut from Jesus Christ's burial shroud I just figured we'd get some sort of description like this: "Third Man Records is pleased to announce the limited "Magna Carta Version" vinyl pressing of Jay-Z's Magna Carta....Holy Grail. This 3LP gatefold set is printed on actual paper from 1215...the year the Magna Carta was released. In addition, specs of the paper have been carefully molded into the vinyl, so you can play a piece of history. In addition, all labels and linear notes will be in Latin. The first 500 orders will get a special Third Man Grail Gold flecked cup". Price: $666.66 Note: Third Man will not be responsible for any tearing/ripping as paper from 1215 is very fragile and shouldn't ever be touched/opened....perfect for the Ebay flipper!" kylebutcher5
I haven't heard MCHG but all the reviews are just destroying it.It's a victory lap for a victory lap of the last several years of his career. He's established as one of the greatest rappers of all time and he isn't rapping about the struggle like he did with the Black Album and others. He's really the first successful rapper to be a businessman, have a healthy marriage and a child he loves. It's a different album from anything else out there because he's a different person from anyone else making music. tl;dr- he's not a poor kid from the Bronx and MCHG shows it
scottheisel
TMR's release schedule for the next few months: Friends, family, fans, and followers (known as the 4Fs in the "Biz") of Third Man can welcome a late summer/early September flurry of activity and releases beginning no sooner than... right now. Let's dive right in shall we? Released Aug. 20th: Pokey LaFarge - Central Time 7" Yes, the very song Pokey played on his LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN last month. Pack up your portable record player and sit by the Ohio River blasting this gem of a tribute to living in the good ol' Midwest, featuring super snazzy artwork, and non-album B Side "St. Louis Crawl." Sitting at the crossroads of early jazz, country blues and western swing, these two homegrown tracks are enough to make any damn yankee, mountain man or California dream reconsider their stomping grounds. Check the shred-tastic groover "Just Strut" right here https://soundcloud.com/thirdmanrecords/king-tuff-just-strut-live-at and now and try and tell us it doesn't make you wanna spray paint "Tuff Enough" on your locker and then kick flip off the back of an AMC Ambassador and skate off into nighttime oblivion... Get your live vinyl now and get revved up for the mighty King Tuff headed out on tour starting next September. Check all the dates at: http://www.kingtuffworld.com/shows/ Upcoming: Aug. 27th: The White Stripes - Elephant Reissue LP This is the official release date for the long-awaited reissue of The White Stripes fourth album and major label debut.
