adamlikesmusic
Jack's Mannequin - Everything in Transit. Really wish I hadn't started regularly collecting RIGHT after that repress happened. =/ Is it really no longer available? I didn't realize it had sold out so quickly. idreamofpunk
I remember seeing The War on Errorism on white at a Hot Topic "back in the day," and I slept on that shit. So pissed. Self-Titled NFG LP for $5 at Shake It Records in Cincinnati.
KennyFuckingPowers
Ugh there is so many. A few that stick out in my mind: Underoath - Theyre Only Chasing Safety, AFI - Sing The Sorrow, and Fall Out Boy - From Under The Cork Tree. I remember seeing them on Smartpunk and wanting to get them but figured Id get them at a later date.....yeah that never happened. Kick myself every day for those. KennyFuckingPowers
For awhile I was hating myself for not getting ETID's Gutter Phenomenon off clearance for 4 bucks at HT then seeing it go for 30+ on ebay. However I found a copy at a record store a few months ago and was happy.
controlthebleeding
Unless this was pre-Nevermind or right around when it came out, this has to be a fabrication. Everybody knew this record was worth at least $50-100 back then, and that was before the internet even existed. Either that or you had a serious drug problem. i bought it in san antonio in a used bin and sold it, along with my whole collection and my guitar equipment. and for next to nothing to pay my school loans/medical bills off after i quit college. unfortunately, i didn't see my records as worth anything monetarily like most do now. i didn't have that HOBBY mindset. How was I i suppose to know it was worth anything? i could have sold it for much less, but that's what they offered and i figured, shit, i bought it for like 4 bucks, score for me. truthfully, i would rather have my melvins collection back than that nirvana 7". drds89
it was a CD, a demo version of not so well know postrock band from denmark. had to take care of a situation for an hour or less, came back and it was gone. Oh well, the search continues...

idreamofpunk
FOB's FUCT was one of them, too. A store that didn't even generally carry vinyl back in Dayton had it, and I kept putting that one off. So mad about that.
timbrh2001
For me, probably Ryan Adams - Rescue Blues when they were selling between 40-50 bucks. Now theyre up over 100. Not too upset though, Ill find a trade partner for this 7" someday.
FlippingOut
I remember seeing The War on Errorism on white at a Hot Topic "back in the day," and I slept on that shit. So pissed. Self-Titled NFG LP for $5 at Shake It Records in Cincinnati. for a record that is /2000 they're still FAIRLY available. Still sucks to let a good record go for $5 haha. I'm kind of surprised they never repressed this record.
idreamofpunk
Yeah, it's more the price that I'm pissed about letting it slip by for. They got a used copy in, and I didn't swipe it up. I mean, i have both versions now, but still. I had to pay more than $5 for them, that's for sure.
KennyFuckingPowers
perhaps you didnt see, underoath just got a repress Yeah I saw that haha NOW Im not as bummed (at least until I get a copy) but up until I saw it was getting repressed, I was hating myself. Clutch Owen avatar btw.

Guest
i was at a concert of EITS and a guy in front of me pulled out how strange, innocence. i asked the merchguy for another copy, but it was the last. That sucks. Only EITS album worth listening to in my opinion

TheSummerEnds
I had a chance a couple months ago to get Silverstein's "When Broken Is Easily Fixed" on gray putty /114. I was pretty devastated after i got outbid. Hopefully if someone puts it up again i'll probably grab it.
darkeyelids
I had tame impala 10" ep in my cart in 2009 and i thought $18 was too much for it at the time....goes for around $150 now hmmm
mrewest
Never heard of If These Trees Could Talk until I saw them open for Russian Circles. Before the show I was looking at the merch table & noticed that they had a cool looking album (Above the Earth...) but since I never heard of them I didn't buy it. So I watch them play, was blown away, went to buy the record and they were sold out. Now it'll most likely cost me >$50 to get it. Just saw one sell here for that price. Bender
I missed out on a Sheer Terror Just Can't Hate Enough test press on eBay back in 2004 . I've never seen another . I want that so bad !

My regret was a GFE tour press - but oh well, the thrill is in the chase, right
