These are in no particular order. Pianos Become The Teeth (x3) Xerxes Code Orange Kids (x2) Defeater Touche Amore Light Years Turnover Citizen Empire of Rats Benchpress TItle Fight (x2) Single Mothers (x2) Face Reality Tigers Jaw Lifeguard Colors Headacher Things Fall Apart Converge (!!!) Torche Cloud Nothings Pentimento If These Trees Could Talk ...and maybe Expire tonight Still to come in the next two weeks, Dads, Hostage Calm, and Full of Hell. This year would probably be: The Bronx in Austin Lagwagon/RBG in Nola Souls/Menzingers in Houston Dan Andriano at SXSW I feel like there should have been something else at sxsw, but I can't think of anything. almightyseancore Posted December 9, 2012 Share Posted December 9, 2012 i tried thinking about this and i think some of the ones I'm coming up with were actually last year. i think nada surf, the jealous sound, and off! are the only concerts i've attended this year aside from a few local shows. i know i saw dax riggs again recently, but thinking that actually took place last year, i'm not 100% sure. being the superdad that i am, i don't really get out too much. if i made a list of every band i've seen since i moved to saint louis (with the exception of local acts) it would probably be a lot more interesting. I got so burned out on shows that I didn't much enjoy it any more. Caribou Radiohead (!!) Human Sexual Response Ra Ra Riot The Joy Formidable and I'm seeing The Killers a week from tomorrow to top it all off. Honestly, I could've just seen Radiohead this year and have been perfectly happy. Nothing like seeing your favorite band for the first time. I counted multi stage fests as one and multi venue fests as each show. I think if an outdoor festival was more than one day, each day counted. I also had a column for merch that I bought. It's gonna be hard to update it if I can ever recover it since I haven't really been buying stuff at shows. I need to just start a new one.
