Whenever I lose it I can log onto icloud and choose an option to make my phone sound a loud noise... making it easier to find in my apartment. I can also remotely lock my phone if it’s lost in a cab or someplace I wouldn’t want people going through my stuff. Needless to say I use that app a lot. I jailbreak my phone (tethering is very useful for a fantasy baseball nut...) and it's too much of a pain to be constantly upgrading then jailbreaking. Just checked and I am running IOS 5.1 on a 3GS. I don't even want a new Iphone. I guess it's probably getting far enough behind the new stuff that it is getting to be time to make the upgrade.
