Long story short, I accepted a transfer position for my job, but received an offer to apply for a promotion within the company and I had to notify my manager of it. Texas is ideal for obvious reasons (music scene, food, better atmosphere, job market), but my gf's mother, step father and sister live in Dumas, which is 6 hours away.
