JessRD
I went last year, this looks way better to me. Also a few kids from my town are in a band and they are playing, so that will be pretty cool. I'm afraid of flying, but I'll get on the plane again for this. PC Music
What? Last year's was pretty much perfect. Not that I was gonna go to Coachelly anyway, but I'm not a fan of the headliners. RHCP is one of my least favorite bands and one of the reasons I sold my passes to ACL last year. Mid-tier looks good, though. And that's usually what makes a festival. JessRD
I don't know, I felt underwhelmed last year. I mean I still had an awesome time, but not perfect for me.
noalarmplanet
The undercard has many more winners than the headliners. Maybe its just my dislike for the red hot chili peppers mixed with hoping for bowie.
Guest
Will stream Lee Perry and some other good stuff.
beardacus
dude, I'm stoked to see Jurassic 5's name up there. Had no idea those guys were back together! kyacrash
One Hundred Fifty-Two
I am really conflicted with this lineup, but it doesn't really matter since there is no way I am going. The bad: Heavily rumored acts Daft Punk and The Rolling Stones are not on the list. Acts in the second line are severely overbilled (The XX, Social Distortion, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) Blur is the only headliner remotely interesting. The Stone Roses never got popular in the states. No Riff Raff or Big Gigantic The good: Everything else So much TRAP Two sleeper picks for each day: Friday - Dog Blood (It is a Skrillex project. If it was labeled as just Skrillex it would have been billed a lot higher) Earl Sweatshirt (OFWGKTA hype has died down and Earl wasn't even around to enjoy it. Best flow in the whole crew) Saturday - 2 Chainz (Guest spots on all the hottest songs) Janlle Monae (When will she break out with a hit of her own) Sunday - Paul Oakenfold (Been at the techno game since before most the acts were born) Cloud Nothings (No surprise to most VC members)
One Hundred Fifty-Two
I am still waiting for a festival to bring some serious headliner heat Paul McCartney / David Bowie / Prince 50 Cent / Kanye West / Wu Tang Clan Daft Punk / Aphex Twin / Depeche Mode They are bringing in enough revenue that this could be pulled off. qwrm38
aphex would be so killer
3arl
Lineup is sick as usual. I hate that school keeps me from going. Next year though, next year...
ruckis
I love this line up. I was a bit disappointed by the headliners. The more I look at the undercard, the more excited I get. This will be my third consecutive coachella (I even bought presale tickets last May). I love the music and the experience is amazing. I suggest everyone go to at least 1 coachella even if you aren't 100% digging the bands playing.
jvphotoandvideo
And now I start paying attention for side shows. Descendents and Modest Mouse mostly. Anyone else is a bonus!
almightyseancore
this lineup is almost identical to Primavera.
jonnywreck
Buncha bands all the cool kids are going to start saying they've loved for years (but really, they just wikipedia'd them for street cred). Also way too arguments on my facebook feed about who should be billed over who. We'll see how the rest of the festival season goes.
Guest
I get anxiety just thinking about the crowds there.
BuzzersonKillwell
Plently of talent there, but this line-up is a little underwhelming for my tastes. There isn't much their I'd travel cross-state to see, let alone cross country. Not that I was planning to go anyway, just my two cents. fitterhappier
this lineup is almost identical to Primavera. except no The Knife/My Bloody Valentine. If those 2 were at Coachella, I'd go in a heartbeat noalarmplanet
youspinmeround
The issue with these festivals being so many of late is that alot of these bands tour/play elsewhere and the festival lure of getting big acts that dont play is over
dynamitekid
You guys are missing the best band: Tokyo. Ska. Paradise. Orchestra. Hopefully they do other shows in the states! circuit bored records
