Had an order in for Oddisee - 101 and Tribe - Low End Theory from when the last sale they had, and just got that order cancelled. They sent an email saying they'll send a code in 24 hours, but I haven't seen it yet. I really don't understand why they would have a hard time getting a copy of that Tribe record.

$200 gift card for $15. It'll probably get cancelled, but I ordered for funsies.

hell yeah. just ordered and chose expedited shipping, with hopes of getting it sent out before they catch it.

I think they can legally cancel it if it's an obvious price mistake.  $200 for $15 qualifies as an obvious error.

 

It would get tricky if the pricing mistake was still within the realm of a sale price, for example, if they were selling a $75 gift card for $50.  That might get the company closer to the realm of a "bait and switch" case.  All big retailers should have language in their terms and conditions that state they can cancel orders that feature pricing errors.

The question is is do the call center people I'd call and harass know that?
