Aych
Went record shopping in Atlanta today, and brought back a pretty decent haul: Chuck Persons - A.D.D. Complete: Locked Groove Edition III 7" (58/120) Zomby - A Devil Lay Here / Basquiat 7" Of Monsters And Men - Into The Woods 10" (RSD press, /2000) James Ferraro - Far Side Virtual (180g clear vinyl, /1000) High Places - Original Colors Blood Diamonds feat. Grimes - Phone Sex (transparent pink vinyl) A Sunny Day in Glasgow - Autumn, Again (maroon vinyl, /500) I'm really excited about the Chuck Persons 7", since I had missed out on it on RSD last year and was totally convinced I'd never find a copy in-store (I didn't want to buy it online for an inflated price). EDIT: I got a pic.

dawhizz
Went to the local quarterly record show today. I see the same people with the same crappy classic rock LPs in terrible condition, but I go just in case I find a diamond in the rough (like the time I got Electro-Shock Blues and New Adventues in Hi-Fi for a total of $35). Only came away today with the Lost Highway 2LP press of the Hank Williams tribute album /1000 for $10. Not bad, but not worth the amount of time I was there. Jesus some of those people smell bad . . .
Guest
V/A Cat Music For Cat People 10" (All songs about cats!) The Bananas - A Slippery Subject The Underground Railroad To Candyland - Knows Your Sins The Bananas - Nautical Rock N Roll Cassette Todd Congelliere - Time To Be A Pussy 7" Wiccans - Field II Wiccans - Skullduggery Crazy Spirit - S/T I can't wait for Recess to repress Nautical Rock N Roll. It's my favorite Bananas album, but for now the tape will do! Also I was super pumped that Katorga Works found more copies of Field II! Waited too long to get one and they sold out. An album with a saxophone on one song and a drum solo on another should not rule that hard. Also also also while I'm rambling here, I gotta mention that the Crazy Spirit LP is a perfect punk album! Some real snotty, numbskull, noisy shit. A great soundtrack for hating the world to.
plasma36
Deathrats - s/t - light blue marble /300 v/a - "This Comp Kills Fascists Vol. 1" 7x7" box set - clear /100 Seasick - "Ennui" /850 Magnum Force - "Self Loathing" 56/100 Final Draft - s/t /1000 Socially Retarded/Daisycutter - split /300 HEALTH - s/t - clear red /500 v/a - "Delaware Kills Everything" 294-300 Traded in a bunch of records I don't need and got a few that I do need. The TCKF box set might be my find of the year, a new copy on clear vinyl for $15. A steal. Sit and Spin Records in South Philly has another copy available, so get on that (and buy a bunch more records from them because they rule). drewshannon
Six months after arriving to LA and discovering that my record player had been broken in transit, I'm finally back in the game after picking up a basic Sony PS-LX300 turntable today. My records have been staring at me from the shelf, so I'm happy to have a way to play them again.
