Remember that 35w bridge collapse? That's exactly how I felt. The only reason I ever get to see concerts is because I'm less than an hour away from the Penn State campus. I got to see Brand New and MGMT last April and Nine Inch Nails in November, but those are the only two I've been to. lonesomexloveus Posted January 22, 2014 Share Posted January 22, 2014 Central PA sucks for concerts.. it's not so bad when there's a Towson date. but yeah, usually it's a drive to Philly, which is awful because for me it's the price of a ticket, plus $20+ to park, plus $18 in turnpike tolls plus gas for 4 hours of roundtrip driving. so a $25 (plus fees) show turns very quickly into a $60+ show, even if you split the tolls/parking/gas with someone.
