Man, Jack's show at the Metro was insane. Sat in line from 7:00pm to 9:30pm when doors open and got to stand dead center on the balcony railing for the show. Had to have been the best view in the place. Metro could've used less fog though lol. Noticed both the owner and the president of the Cubs were in the VIP section too. I really hope TMR has plans to release the audio in some way. The setlist was great.

A couple nights ago I stayed at the hotel (Peppermill Resort in Reno, NV) where they filmed the video for the song Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino. There are some really cool looking areas throughout that building. I was walking around drunk at 4:00am taking pictures haha

Has anyone here bought any of the MC-era merch they have online or at shows? Specifically looking to see what the sizing is on their longsleeve shirts. They were out of the longsleeve I wanted at their show in Sacramento last night and didn't think to check the sizing of a t-shirt for comparison. Idk if I need a Small or a Medium based on their description of the "Generous fit that’ll allow us to help you look good." Any help?

Don't forget the You Are The Conductor EP. That was my first exposure to them (I think shortly after The Four Trees came out) and it's still my favorite of their stuff. It's a nice quick listen. I do love everything they've released though.

One of the shitty paper sleeves the discs are in has like an half-inch-long split from shipping. When I hold a flashlight up to it, it is clearly green. I'll try to take a picture tonight and post it here.

Makes me kinda bummed that my yellow copy has some distortion and Side A seems pressed off-center. Has any contacted Subpop before asking for a replacement? I've never asked a label for a replacement before but I'm tempted for this one because I'll probably listen to it a lot.

It's nice only being a casual Arctic Monkeys fan, so I can take in this new album at face value. I enjoy it. That Four Out Of Five performance on Fallon was killer too.

My yellow copy had some distortion issues during the last half of side A. I think only a copy pops here and there on Side B though. I want a copy of the VMP clear glass variant, but I think it's sold out already.

Hey, if the Beach House 7 ultra clear VMP version isn't sold out (I think it is), would someone be willing to buy me a copy please?

Thanks for noting the quality of the Loser Edition disc. I received shipping notification yesterday so I hope it makes it to me by Friday (WA to WI is a long trip for media mail postage haha). Haven't listened to anything beyond the first two singles so I'm excited listen to it all at once!

I believe Bernie Grundman is the guy who masters a lot of stuff for Johnny Jewel (Chromatics, Glass Candy, etc.) and all those albums that I have sound great. I'm happy enough to have a first press of POI so I'll pass on this, although that tri-color scheme is awesome. I'm still kicking myself for selling my sealed copy of the clear/gold splatter tour press years ago though... oh well.

I went to cancel my monthly membership, since I don't want the AM album, and it says, "Your membership will end on April 2, 2018. You have 1 shipments remaining." I've already received the Beach House record, so does this mean I'm stuck with the AM record? It's still giving me the option to swap the AM record too.

Yeah, mine looks pretty much exactly like the promo photos on the VMP website as well. One disc has a bit more cloudiness to it than the other, but both have a lot of the splatter. Still haven't listened yet though, I got distracted the night I was going to.

I received the Beach House album yesterday, but haven't listened to it yet. I probably will tonight. The records look really cool. Hope it sounds good as well!
