Yeah the new album definitely has the potential to be even better than the first one. It's just that the first album has a lot of memories attached with it so that might be hard but it's really really good.

Today is the 7th anniversary of my mom passing away from lung cancer. I made the three hour drive this morning and visited her grave for the first time. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, and this album has helped me feel a little better on the ride home. I am so thankful for this album.

I'm so good damn excited for this. Bon Iver, Bon Iver is one of the best albums of the last 10 years.

So the label Who is releasing the ost using a wrong phrase in their hype insta post instead of the " upside down"...

I probably sank a little more time than I should have into this effort, but I wanted to showcase my Chelsea Wolfe collection and plead that you guys chip in and help me fill in the last three pieces that I need to complete the set!
 

 
A few nerdy notes:
The two Pendu presses of Apokalypsis can be told apart by the barcode on the back as well as the center labels.  The "barcode pressing" has slightly more yellowed center labels than the first press without the barcode. Recently, Abyss was repressed on clear and transparent blue vinyl.  These are actually entirely new pressings with new plates, jackets, etc.  The first four pressings are on reverse board jackets and have a note that says "C & P 2015 Sargent House" underneath the barcode, but the new pressings are just regular matte jackets without the C & P notice.  Also, the matrix and runouts are different.  If I had to guess, the first four pressings seem to be from Pirate's Press while the newer two look like they were pressed at either Raino or Erika. I got lucky and won the test for Pain Is Beauty on eBay...haven't seen any other tests of her stuff come up before or after that moment.  Sargent House and Pendu must've kept those very much in house.

Ordered! Pretty sure that's the heaviest record 2016 without hearing it

This album is a contender for album of the year for me.

If you leave the vinyl in direct sunlight (or any heat source) for long enough it turns into the much rarer clear variant.

No plans to ever revisit the recordings of JD, NH ATF, AWLWLB, etc.
Fun fact, the main reason we were compelled to remix/remaster "Petitioning..." and "When Forever..." was that EVR lost the original packaging and audio files for both those releases. As a band we've recently taken steps to digitally archive a lot of our catalog that was on tape that was degrading. Hopefully that sort of situation will never happen again.

Those lines are actually fairly genius if you stop to think about it. In the year 2016, I really can't think of any word that rhymes with "asshole" better than "asshole". I've scoured lists and exhausted vocabulary, and I challenge you to do the same.
Aside from being a perfect match for syllables and flow, the use of "asshole" is specifically two-fold in the verse: it acts as a figurative, anatomical asshole (anus, noun) in the second line, and as a deplorable individual (jerk, adjective) in the fourth.
The use of the word "bleach" in lines 2 and 3 may initially seem redundant and uninspired in such close proximity, but this is clearly Kanye's craft in full swing: "bleach" gets used as a verb and a noun, back to back, because the mastermind wants to drive home the imagery. Bleach is here. Bleach is now.
Perfect rhyme scheme and two double meanings in the same verse? It's true when Kanye said this wasn't album of the year, but album of the life. Fuck.

the discogs for this release is so fucked up, there are so many duplicate listings and incorrect listings, i think currently there are 19 versions on discogs, over half should be removed. What a cluster fuck.
