At this point, I'm pretty sure Brand New is done with their fanbase. They hate the public eye and the "worship" they receive. And so be it; but pretty much any popular band has the same thing going on with their fans. It comes with the territory. But it's become such a blatant marketing scheme these last few years. It's one thing to continue to ignore it, but to capitalize on it is well... RSD Deja, 10-year-old demos on cassette, those stupid Halloween masks, announcing a breakup date two years in advance, the list goes on. It's gimmicky shit. And this caps it all off. $45 for "Fifth Album" on VERY LIMITED vinyl. Only thing worse than the gimmicks are the fans that fall for it.

Got The Last Guardian in today, guess the people complaining about the pressing quality weren't exaggerating, this thing is really bad (you might have to turn the volume up, depending on what you're listening on).
 
I cannot understand how something like this is even possible, do they really not check the tests before greenlighting the pressing? Definitely asking for my money back.

It's just crazy to me how many people talk about equality and then talk about giving preferential treatment to certain groups. That's not equality...it's the exact opposite of equality.

I know nobody actually said this ^^^ in this case and I can get why someone would want people they identify with up in the front...but how do you think this is ok?
Imagine if someone said, "Yeah, I'd like to get the front filled up with heterosexual, gender CIS people only. Anyone in the LGBTQ community, please move to the back." Nah, that wouldn't fly. People would absolutely lose their shit, and rightly so.
 
If someone paid to come see you, they're there supporting you not causing an issue, don't fuckin' mean-mug them because you assume you don't share their beliefs, or that they don't share your gender identity. The hypocrisy is real.
