John Prine's Grammy Award-winning album Fair & Square will be available October 1st in three editions as a double LP for the first on vinyl time in sixteen years. This is a new pressing (with a new lacquer that sounds amazing) made in Detroit at Third Man Record Pressing. 
Exclusively on the John Prine and Oh Boy Records store, the "Irish Edition" 180 gram double LP will feature green and orange vinyl and an exclusive matte jacket with embossed text on the front cover.

Maybe we'll get to buy FTM single for a marginal fee of $25.

I really wish the Unsung EP would get pressed, love that thing.

As an electrician I am bit saddened by the lack of circuit resistance references in the lyrics of Ohms.

All LP & CD copies of ‘The Dusk In Us’ feature a holographic mirror board jacket giving the album a different look depending on how light shines on the cover. The first press vinyl colors were chosen to replicate all colors produced by the album cover.

I've been using Kiwi shoe polish for years with no issue. They have a few different colors but I prefer black so I don't compromise the integrity of the vinyl

No. The top autists over at the Brand New subreddit are still on the job. They're still figuring out the ancient technology known as a "CD DRIVE." Very complex work.

I just hope that shit didn't roll back uphill to Hyper's source, and cost someone their publication job.  Depending on the label and how things are watermarked, he could take all the heat from someone who got careless here at VC.  I wouldn't say it's entirely expected – many moons ago, a download link was accidentally made available to everyone who pre-ordered Prawn's Kingfisher with swiftness.  The link got pulled within the hour, but there were probably 7-10 of us who grabbed the album months before its release date.  Topshelf logged into VC and genuinely asked that all of us keep it on lockdown and avoid leaking it, and somehow we all went months keeping it under lock and key.  Seth was so grateful he made an additional coupon code for the board, if I recall.  So it can happen.  There's just definitely different variables when you're talking about a select group who've paid for the album they're protecting, and a group who just want it because someone is offering.
