I think some of the discs had defects in the pressing but the sound quality is good-to-great. I didn't have any of those issues, mine was the second round.
My turntable is a ProJect Essential II Digital with the stock cartridge (Ortofon OM-5E). I just archive my stuff in 24-bit digital cuz you know... dynamic range matters and I don't like wearing down my records.

I just don't understand some members on this site. They are all ready to go and sell originals when a new press/remaster is released. No idea how good/bad it will sound, but they want to sell the originals to get max $$$$. I've seen it mentioned many times.
I am the complete opposite. I never sell my originals, and will buy remasters etc, if I hear it sounds good.

The best way to ask questions is to email [email protected] but that ask a question button should work just fine. Just got an email from EasyStreet about the Weezer 10" for Africa disc I ordered from them this morning. Any of you guys heard about this?
Just wanted to give you a heads up that the Weezer 10” picture disc of Africa was recalled across the country. Every record store in the country received warped copies. They are mostly bowled and the ones that we tested did not affect the playing. Let me know if you’re still interested and I’ll process your order.

I picked one up in store and immediately felt it was dished. I had no intentions on buying it just wanted to touch it lol.
My copy of bloody kisses has some scratches on side d, e and f at the start of each side and plays ridiculously loud pops. I'm gonna try to exchange it at bullmoose.
