Finally have a camera that will at least take a viewable photo, so I thought I would share some pics. Speaker placement is not ideal, but it is a work in progress.
 

 

Two of my three cats do the exact same thing. Spoiled brats!!! lol But I have more than one food bowl so sometimes I'll trick them by pouring all the food together and then back into the bowls. It usually works. 

The testicle count in my house is about to go down by two. Wish Buckley luck!

If my cat can see the bottom of the food bowl she's 100% certain she's going to starve to death. She'll yell at me until I throw another scoop in and then won't even eat it right away. Just like "good, food secured. Time for naps."

That's one of the ones you're supposed to get in writing.
 
Joking aside I'm lucky enough to be in a similar position now but I do occasionally detect the odd rolling of the eyes when I walk through the door with a big grin on my face and holding either something shiny and expensive or a big bag of records.

C'mon, man. Disliking an artist doesn't mean you need to degrade them. I'm sure you probably don't even care about me being annoyed by your comment, but it's sort of a pet-peeve of mine to see/hear people calling musicians (or any artists for that matter) a 'pile of shit' because of their technical skill. If it's not your cup of tea, stop drinking it. 
 
Pelican could have easily went in and 'cleaned up' all the drumming after recording like nearly every other band does, but they didn't. Instead, it's raw, stiff, and sloppy. And I love it all the more because of that as I think it fits the music, especially their earlier, more sludgy and heavy stuff. No doubt you disagree with me, and that's perfectly fine--music is a very personal experience. But let's just leave it at that and forgo the insults.

I'd give it another week or two personally.  That would give the item enough time to show up if he did ship it.  It's lame he hasn't responded, but who knows if the seller is really busy or whatever.

I built this room in my basement from bare concrete up. I still would like to add a couple more posters and some lighting over the player but overall I'm pretty happy with the results. I love having the guitars on the wall! Sorry couldn't get good pics with my cell.

You can't fully fall in love with Caspian until you see them live, so do yourself a favor and go to Audiotree.tv to watch the Caspian set.
Also go to Youtube and look up their "APK" sessions.

I have that brush and I have no clue what you're talking about. I think you're pressing/angling the brush too hard? 

As far as music goes, pretty much. Sorry if it sounds pretentious, but I think of this thread as a bit of a sanctuary when the main board is flooded with Hot Topic represses and SRC exclusives that I honestly couldn't care any less about at the age of 26. In my opinion, even the most generic post-rock / post-metal / ambient / whatever is preferable to the majority of what the boards hype up.
The artists that have been recommended to you are excellent, especially Caspian. But based off these three artists, I get the impression you may be looking for more post-metal than post-rock. (Or at the least, post-rock that is loaded more with riffs than atmosphere.) In which case I'd highly recommend;
