In Notes - on my iPhone - I keep a list of albums I want, a list of preorders (with dates of expected release), and a list of albums I've received/bought but not taken the time to enter into database ( I use RecordNerd.com). Usually enter them when there's 10+ on the list and I'm having a listening sess.

obviously plenty of people like Dave Fridmann's signature style - usually guarantees it to be almost unlistenable to me if his name's involved. I liked a lot of Y&G so I've been hopeful on this release (even left room for it in a box I made to house all my Baroness albums). I'm skeptical now but will prob pick it up at some point...

Finally got my Nikki Sudden lps - arrived in great shape and damn, this is some awesome music! I only knew Swell Maps before but as a fan of early Stones, T-Rex, Royal Trux, and Soft Boys, this is vital and I'm amazed it took me so long to hear it...

so. friggin. great. They did with this one what Drums And Guns hinted at with the electro. infusions but it feels so much more integrated and piggybacks off the amazing songwriting and Mimi-centric harmonies and leads that The Invisible Way had going on. I'm really diggin' this one
