Yeah, I wasn't expecting it to be groundbreaking or anything, so when people say "it doesn't do anything new" or something I'm like.......it's Anthony screaming. That's ALL I want and need. 

Yeah this album is pretty great.  Nothing groundbreaking, but still really good.

I'm not surprised at the varying opinions. This is an emo super group, who some of us are stans for, and we will naturally compare to their other bands. Personally, this is an excellent record and Anthony's scream is something I didn't know I needed in my life (have not really listened to him much before).

I recorded the whole set from the album release show if anyone is interested. 
 
 

Am I listening to a different album? I didn't find this boring or repetitive at all. The whole thing is excellent in my opinion. I will be spinning this a lot. 

so happy i saw this today, i woulda been so mad at myself if i missed out on this.
really cool to see a 500 copy pressing of a pretty small band sell out on day 1. but im honestly not surprised, this record fucks. 

What the hell? File this under "thing I never thought would get pressed." I love this album. I can't believe I just opened VC up and this was here waiting for me.

I've seen a lot worse. This artwork is pretty inoffensive and looks like it was put together in 2 minutes or less. But I can't see getting upset about it. It's not like the new Nothing album or that abomination on A Perfect Circle's latest. 
 
The song is pretty bad though. Maybe my least favorite Death Cab song yet.

We're at a point in the vinyl releasing game where putting some extra money into mastering a record for vinyl, and not doing a CD source like T&N always does, should just be a given.  But then again, T&N may be smarter than the rest of us and realizes like 90% of the people buying their reissues don't care about sound quality...or aren't even listening to the records.
