Not sure when they went OOP but i didn't start collecting vinyl until late 2014. Didn't discover VC until 2015 and didn't buy much online until around that time either. Never saw either at any of the stores I frequented. That said, yea its totally on me for missing out on them. 
 
Just hoping for some type of anniversary edition of some kind at some point soon.

Sorry guys, the price is a bit steep but it’s as low as we could get them to go. Trust me, we wanted them to be as low as possible. But they’re nice box sets that we spent a lot of time working out the kinks on, and I guarantee they are quality. 

Yea a bit steep for a deluxe version - but still they went above and beyond what normal "Deluxe" edition pressings are nowadays (simply different  variant and/or jacket). This is practically a mini-box set. Ordered the midnight blue - can't wait to get this and go through all the goodies

The webstore variant was highlighter yellow but turned out more green due to it being a transparent color. Will note that for the 2nd pressing though.

In case there are still some of you out there who dont appreciate how great the White Album was, here's another example of what could've been on that album: 
Typical melodies without any of the fuzz = no bueno. The more and more I hear from Rivers lately the more I grow skeptical of the forthcoming Black Album.

I wouldn't think its that hard to do this the right way and please everyone: 
 
1st variant "SUPER DELUXE" ( /50, gatefold or box, 180g black, inserts, picture/lyric booklet, hand-numbered, etc) - approx $50-$70 [for the super collector types]
2nd variant "LIMITED EDITION" ( /1000, gatefold, colored vinyl, insert booklet) - approx $25-$30 [for big time fans that don't have $50+ to spend]
3rd variant "STANDARD" ( /3000, 140g black vinyl, lyric sheet/sleeve) - approx $20
 
Idk just makes more sense to me, but maybe I'm crazy

I can enjoy all of Blue, Pinkerton, Green, Maladroit, EWBAITE, and White. That's enough Weezer for me that I'm OK mostly ignoring everything else.
