I don't care about concerts being long, as long as their good. I've seen 2h concerts that sucked ass and 20min ones that were absolutely amazing. I drove three hours once to catch a just short of 30min set by Shellac and I didn't spend a minute complaining about it being too short, because it was 30 minutes of pure fucking glory. 

Didn't see anyone post these.  Considering going to both Seattle shows.

I didn't get this one but I did just buy another on eBay for $48.99 shipped. Considering the retail price of just under $30 for the standard black, it's not that much of a stretch because I do agree the price of these will only go up. 9000 is not a lot for a band as well-known as Radiohead. And since I won't be around this weekend, there's basically no chance of me picking one up at a local shop. Tried yesterday but two were releasing Friday, one had them out but no white copies. 

For anyone in the UK I have 8 copies of the white available (they came in today and will ship tomorrow) I will also keep 2 aside for my pop up store in Canterbury if anyone here happens to be local.

I dunno, this is Radiohead and 9000 is stupid limited for one of the most popular bands in the world. I think the price will only go up.

The record won't be released for another two months so the Castle Face variant will likely go up mid-late July.

I agree for regular use it would be nice to have a single or double LP. After all it's only 41 minutes.

Wait hold up, this is actually confusing. If I had impulsively purchased too quickly I may not have noticed that there is a standard black version of these and that the color variants promoted in the video are not the default. Fine print reading is important. Guess I'll hold off until those are announced.

Good thing my girlfriend just got a job offer today after switching careers and going back to school over the winter. 

BTW "Anxiety" is great - I initially streamed it from YouTube in the car on the way to work and didn't love the vocals, but I just listened again on good headphones at work and the details of the music really came though. I also appreciated the vocals more.

Went to a flea market today, table said $5 each record, ended up with 23 records and paid $30. Best $30 I've spent my whole life. Even better he's going to have six more crates tomorrow

Eh this band is dead to me. More dead than they were on the last album. Major mainstream appeal though. I actually had higher hopes for this track with J. Mascis, but this is just bad mainstream "indie".

For anyone on the fence. There have been several knowledgeable reviews on these (Fremer etc).
They are said to very good sonically. The only thing that has been said (a few times) to be better are the original UKs. If you have "A Nice Pair" US edition, it is piss poor in comparison to these Piper and Saucer releases.
 
Also, people have had complaints about dishing/warped records from the US press. The UK (done at Optimal) has been pretty much flawless. It was also cheaper to order from UK.
 
 
PF will be releasing EVERY studio album. These are all done by Bernie Grundman, so you KNOW they are bound to sound fantastic, even if you had any doubts to begin with.
 
 
Can't stop laughing at the black bag comment for the WYWH. Obviously just clueless.

I made a spur of the moment decision to visit the record shop on my "lunch" break today - first needing to move my car to extend parking and then deciding on a quick car wash to de-bug from the weekend's road trip to Portland. I was headed in the direction of the record shop...so why not. Among other things, I scored this VG+/Mint version of Pinback's Summer in Abaddon. Prior to picking up a standard black copy recently for about $15, I was considering a maroon copy on Discogs going for $60, which I ultimately decided I didn't need when I could get a new black one for $15. This one cost $39, so I decided to go for it.
