It's nice to see a company that doesn't make up pretentious crap about it and admit to what their basis is. Belden make some very nice cable which is why their part numbers are standards in a lot of industries, so if you ever fancy trying to make your own just have a look through the Belden catalogue. We use quite a lot of small signal Belden cable for different things at work so off cuts occasionally come home with me to make cables, problem is we don't use a lot of the sort of cable that looks the part for hifi use but looks aren't everything.

Also I picked up four 100M reels of custom made 4 core Belden cable years ago so I never need to by another speaker cable ever, it's only downside is that the outer sheaf is lime green so it's not exactly conspicuous but for £5 a 100M reel I have no problem going colour blind.

Here in the good ole USA we have OCEANS.  Seas are for communists and olive pickers.

I own 4.  2 of them sound fabulous (Menomena, Weezer); one is solid and a huge improvement on the standard pressing (Fugees).  The only one I wouldn't recommend (Perfume Genius) sounds amazing when quiet but has spouts of noisiness.  Then again, it was pressed on white vinyl and I picked it up used at Amoeba...

All the VMP reissues look fancy, but how do they sound? I'm interested in a few, and I might pick up a 3 month membership.

Was coming here to say the same thing. 7 copies, his lowest now at $45.

I've sent some Best Offers to him for $0.69.

There were some copies there earlier for $45 + ship. I bet he bought those to re-flip. I wish there was a way to block sellers on Discogs - I don't even want his shit showing up in my feed. It's infuriating.

Quite possibly the greatest blues record of all time, I have an original sample copy but the cover is in awful shape

Ugh. Just called my local shop to check on the seven inches - their response was 'The album is available on their site and will be out in June.'

If you buy some decent quality inner sleeves, it's really not too hard to slip the record back into the sleeve.
Get some inner sleeves, enjoy the eight thousand ridiculous responses to your post, and relax. It'll all be ok.
    Try these:

@Danh There's been major problems with IGD (inner groove distortion) on the initial 4LP repress in 2012. Zero was supposedly unlistenable. This pressing sold out almost anywhere in 2013, though, with another (pretty much identical) repress taking its place somewhen in 2015 (discogs has it listed as 'release date unknown'. It's identical in the sense of both represses look exactly the same, so they can't be differentiated from the outside, but all playback problems have been resolved. So, any place that has copies in stock should have the new, improved pressing.
I bought mine about a year ago for $75 shipped (to GE from Canada!), but I'd say anything below $100 is a solid. One of the single most amazing boxes I own, and the improved pressing does sound absolutely amazing.

^ It keeps the sleeve sturdy so you can slip the record in and out without bunching or folding the sleeve or its corners. I use MoFis mostly but I slightly prefer the SleevCity version as their paper side is a little sturdier. MoFis still bunch slightly at times.

The paper lined sleeves hold their shape much better, plastic sleeves on their own are more annoying than paper sleeves IMO.

When it comes to putting vinyl(s) back into their sleeves, my motto is, "If it feels good, do it."

Sounds like you're being a little OCD about the process. As long as you aren't doing coke off your records and slam dunking them back into the sleeves, I have a feeling you are ok.
