New singles are so great. It Pulls You Up has been on repeat for me. Also notified it isn’t on Spotify which is strange. I believe you can stream them on their bandcamp though.

I’ll be open about it. If someone is bothering someone else, the person being bothered should block the individual doing the bothering and report it to the mods. End of story.  Encouraging further bothering by repeatedly responding in threads, calling names, and then crying victim is ridiculous and is just as responsible for thread derailing and closures as the alleged bothering.

It’s far less about the durability of the mailer and way more about the wiggle room inside the mailer.  I wish people would grasp that.  It’s why my orders from the UK that arrive in snug cardboard envelopes are mint 99% of the time, and my stateside orders show up with seam splits despite shipping in mailers that pass as tanks.
 
After you package your record up, and before taping the mailer closed, I’d encourage everyone to give the mailer a shake.  Nothing intense, just like a kid on Christmas morning who gets to the tree before his parents are awake.  If you feel any shifting inside, I’d strongly encourage some additional packaging.  It can be more cardboard, bubble wrap, spare jacket laying around, newspaper, whatever.  Just get it all to “hug” inside and you’ll save a ton of headaches.  Thick mailers and corner protectors are great for saving dog-eared bends or creases, but dings and seam splits are way more common from my experience. And easily avoidable once you eliminate that extra space inside the mailer.

Maybe not the smartest move. I'd hesitate to put my number out there like this. You've got a lot of rad stuff though.

Have you heard his cover of Iron and Wine's "Such Great Heights"? Kinda presumptuous that he could better Sam Beam on that track.

Not being a TTV fan previously, I quite like the new direction.
 
Also seems you're reading a bit into him still using the name. It could just be in honor of his highschool friend that he started a band with... the name and band has always been half his, so, sounds like he's free to do with the name what he wants. /shrug

$80?  Wowzers.  I do like the “Now Spinning” engraving though.  Without it you really can’t tell what’s being played, and I think there’s a lot of value in that.

Never said I would buy it but some people like this type of thing. 

I’m not in love with it but I also knew I wouldn’t be.  I think that the people who hate the polish and pop approach of their last few albums are gonna’ have a really bad time with this one.  Too early for me to form a definitive take on one listen but there are some decent ideas present.  I just don’t know if the entire package will be enough for me to warrant a spot on my shelf.
