I guess Owen Morris has been talking about it on his website too. He also remastered Morning Glory and will remaster Be Here Now.
Either way great news for people who don't have the original pressings or the reissues from 4-5 years ago.

I (among a lot of people I know) like all eras of Earth. There's no such thing as good and bad Earth. Pentastar rocks and so does Bees Made Honey. I like that I have a choice rather than listening to a one dimensional band. You're definitely entitled to your opinion, but no one really cares which era is "better" or how they got into the band. As long as they like 'em, then who cares.

No. But I didn't like that he was nice enough to give me permission to have my own opinion only then to explain how my opinion was irrelevant. So pointing out that he said each incarnation of Earth was one dimensional seemed like the best way to respond to that.

I don't think he was calling 90s Earth one dimensional. He was just stating that it's nice to have a band with a varied amount of different material rather than everything being the same.
