After all these years of buying pretty much everything he has released I'm officially done. The awful album I bought last month marks the end of our relationship.

Everything above the RED line took him 24 years to create
Everything below the RED line he's done in 6 years. Literally shitting garbage for breakfast at this point

Seibold is a great guy. Was at that tour in Buffalo. The one thing I hated about that show though was that I had never seen Puppy live at that point and was just really hoping they'd do at least 1 SP song since cEvin was playing with them. But instead they did 1 of his songs in the encore. But i think i may have actually enjoyed that show more than the times I have seen Puppy after.

Morfiend - how was Lead into Gold live opening for him?

I couldn't stomach the markup on the flexi disc edition. I'm guessing I'll be able to order the yellow vinyl edition for <$20 from a retailer, meaning after shipping the flexi would have cost me over $30. No thanks.

I'm sort of okay with his justification of the test press prices being stupid expensive (even though i think half those prices would be more the standard) but the the /200 variant with flexi being $27-$30 more than the other versions is killing me. That much more for a flexi???

I'll probably run down to Detroit to stupidly pay $30+ for the variant. There was no line there when Sciences came out. But that was short notice.

I'm also wondering if it'll be limited to a handful of shops like the black/green Sciences was or distributed all over like the green (guessing like the black/green).

Women have been afraid to speak up about sexual assault/harassment/abuse forever.  So until millions of innocent men are harmed, "me too" has not gone too far.

"Innocent until proven guilty" applies to a court of law. Where it's not uncommon for the guilty to be found innocent and vice versa. So that is irrelevant horsehit.

Maynard has always been a piece of shit creep. This story is pretty believable and with the way dudes on the internet have been reacting to this, the victim was right to remain anonymous. Fuck that Blue Lives Matter shithead and his music.

Yeah the add to cart button just got removed so they appear to be gone again. Doubt they had many up, and you know Ben bought a few of those cancelled ones back with friends/relatives credit cards.

I have an alert set up to notify me within a minute when if/when the add to cart button comes back so i'll post it here if they reactivate it and i happen to be online.

Best seats in Radio City were $250, cheapest was $75 for third mezz. I'm resigned to the fact that mid acts will be around $40-$50 and big names over $100 but to charge $250 and you have to wait around for 6 hours is crazy in my opinion. Obviously people were willing to do this and pay it so whatever.

I guess it depends on the city and where your ticket is. Face price for the worst tickets in Detroit (gallery) were $40 + fees. But the pit and good main floor tickets were $175. And the back rows of the mainfloor  were still $95. As far as I recall NIN has never charged anywhere near that much for the best seats when they've done these smaller shows in the past. At least they haven't at the cities near me.

If you're making people at a lot of these cities wait 6+ hours to even get them, maybe don't screw them and charge 2x the norm for those good seats. But Trent and co know that if you are willing to wait that long then you are willing to pay that much.

Them Are Us Too was formed in the Bay Area by friends Kennedy Ashlyn and Cash Askew in 2012 after meeting at school. Fast friends with an appreciation for the same music and art, they recorded a demo and began performing intimate and memorable gigs on the west coast. They quickly gained a cult following as word spread about their youthful, innocent, and fresh take on the revered 80s dream pop and shoegaze sound, and Kennedy Ashlyn’s voice was immediately compared to Elizabeth Fraser, Kate Bush, and Harriet Wheeler – while Cash Askew’s washes of intricate guitar felt akin to Robin Guthrie, Ronny Moorings, or Kevin Shields. Their music felt familiar but new, nostalgic, and heartbreaking, with songs delivered simply and earnestly.  They betrayed their age (both only 21 when they signed to DAIS) by releasing one of the most incredible debut albums of 2014, “Remain”.

Tragically, Cash Askew passed away in the Ghost Ship fire in Oakland in December of 2016, sending a shockwave of loss through our community.  While Kennedy Ashlyn would eventually emerge as a solo artist through her project SRSQ, there were unfinished Them Are Us Too recordings and demos that Kennedy and those close to Cash felt deserved be heard in her memory.
Kennedy returned to the studio with producer Joshua Eustis (Telefon Tel  Aviv), Sunny Haire (Cash’s stepfather), Matia Somovich (INHALT), and Anya Dross (Cash’s girlfriend) to complete unfinished demos and sketches, write new compositions, and honor Cash Askew.

The result is “AMENDS”:  an album of tragic beauty and depth that tugs at emotions and inspires.
    In Kennedy’s own words:

“Amends is a collection of songs that would have been the second Them Are Us Too record. This release is an amendment to our catalogue cut short; a final gift to our family, friends, and fans who have supported us for the past 5 years. “Amends” is a collaborative effort between TAUT and some of Cash’s dearest friends and family, culminating in a final “thank you” and “goodbye.” Nothing will ever compensate for the loss of Cash, but as we struggle to put together the pieces of what the world is now, what life is now, I hope this record can help to fill in the gaps. And give us some amount of peace.”

Released on standard black vinyl, as well as limited edition clear (100 copies) and green (400 copies), compact disc and digital formats.
