Yea..wow. never heard of any of those so went on a youtube bender for full albums and skipped around for a while. Pretty awful stuff. Each album sounded like one continuous boring shit show. I couldn't tell if I was waiting in line at a hipster coffee shop downtown or in build mode in the fucking Sims.

It's more likely to get damaged during actual shipment vs. on the delivery truck. I deliver packages and they come down the sort line already beat up and I'm stuck delivering it in this condition, yet I had nothing to do with it.

The band themselves said there's just been a holdup at a pressing plant due to a large number of projects/orders within the plant. One of them (I forget who) said they expect the records to arrive within the next two weeks.

I had a 80's all in one radio, cassette, LP and proprietary speaker unit that I started with and I emailed the folks over at http://www.garage-a-records.com/ and after sending them a few pics of what I was working with they were able to figure out what replacement I needed. It was like 12 bucks and the only option available.

Ah man, that post of mine is 2.5 years old. Shortly after that post I ordered the 7 season dvd box set, both movies, Xmas special and Say Goodnight To The Bad Guys. Saw Ricky, Bubbles and Julian live on tour on November 13th, 2010 and still to this day was the funniest thing I have ever experienced. Got to meet them afterwards, so weird seeing them out of character. Especially Mike Smith, when not as bubbles just looks like a regular guy.

Just finished building this with my father in-law. Took us about 10 hours accumulated. Pretty happy with the results! Going to eventually build a second one and a table to put in between to make a kick-ass entertainment center.

Bought a box of 70's, 80's hard rock/metal from craigslist. Ya know Maiden, Priest, Sabbath, Rainbow, Deep Purple, etc. I was blown away by the condition so I took the entire lot, maybe 85 records, they only asked 40 bucks so I ran with it. Got them home and started really digging into it and cleaning them all. By the time I was done I had a good sized pile of old dried up weed, basically turned to dust, and 2 pens. They warned me about the weed since I saw some in a gatefold I was looking at.
Still one of the best craigslist experiences I ever had.
